*With Hearts and, newly named, String*

"String? Nice name." Hearts said awkwardly. "Thanks." String said back. "So where are you headed?" Hearts asked after a moment of silence. String thought for a moment and decided to tell the truth. "I don't really know Hearts." He said as he shrugged.

Hearts tilted his head. 'Don't know??' He questioned himself. "Do you not have a place to stay??" He asked with quite a bit of thought. "Uhh..not really. I was sleeping in the alleyway when I heard your struggle and I woke up and helped you." String informed Hearts giving him a half truth.

"What?!?!! There is no way I am letting my savior without a place to stay!! ...Come with me.." Hearts exclaimed then softened his voice in the last sentence. "Please." Hearts said looking down kind of embarrassed.

Error took a second to think. 'If I take his offer then I get a place to stay but it might be a trap. But he seems so genuine and who would try and betray the person who helped them.'

"Okay. I'll come." Hearts looked up in excitement. "Really?!?!! Thank you so much!! Well then come on." Hearts tried grabbing Strings hands but as soon as he touched them String pulled back. "P-plea-ase d-don't t-tou-uch m-me. I-I h-ha-ave h-ha-aphepho-obia-a." He said stuttering and glitching quite a bit.

"I'm so sorry!! I didn't know!!" Hearts exclaimed while tears was whirling up in his eye sockets. "I-it's okay-y I-I just don't like physical contact." String explained calming down. "J-just grab this." String said trying to calm Hearts down and grabbed the end of his scarf and handed it to Hearts. Hearts nodded not trusting his voice.

Hearts and String entered Hearts' apartment. "Welcome to my apartment. It may be kinda small but it fits my needs." String nodded.

The apartment had one bedroom and the bathroom right next to it on its right. The dinning table was east of the kitchen which was south of the bedroom. The living room was south of the kitchen and it had a couch and a PS5 with two controllers.

"It looks nice Hearts." String said. 'It's weird that my voice doesn't glitch as much. Wonder why.' String thought to himself. "Thank you String. And what do you want to eat?" Hearts asked trying to be courteous to his first guest.

String thought for a moment. 'Eat?? ..Oh right, to eat.' "I don't know. I haven't eaten in a while." String responded giving him a half truth. "Okay then we'll probably need you to eat soups and stuff like that.." And like that he went off into his own little world while walking to the kitchen. String just sat down on the couch in the living room, looking around for something to do.

"Hey String?? Hearts called out to him. "Yeah?" He responded. "Do you have any allergies or preferences?" He asked. "I don't have any allergies. And I like chocolate but otherwise I don't mind anything." String said. "Okay!! Thanks!!" Hearts said cheerfully.

Hearts had decided to make tomato soup with a side of a chocolate bar for String. After String told him that he didn't mind anything it seemed like a good idea. He hasn't made tomato soup in a while. He finished up making the tomato soup and put two bowls on the small table in the dinning room. "It's ready!!" Hearts said excitedly.

String stood up and sat down at the table looking at the soup with a look that said "What the heck is this??" Hearts seeing his expression responded. "It's tomato soup. It's really good!! I haven't had this in a looong time." "Okay, thanks Hearts." Strong said as he smiled at him. "Oh..umm.. I-it's n-no p-pro-oblem. He said as he was very flustered.

"W-well l-let's eat." Hearts trying to distract himself from what happened just a few seconds ago. "Okay." String agreed.
