*With Hearts and String a month later it's now the first week of November*

It was only a few weeks ago when they met but it felt like they knew each other for years. String had put in the codes that he was String not Error. String had also started eating more solid food now. Thankfully String had started sleeping at least 3 hours per night since his body was 17 years old. And even better, Hearts had adopted him as his son. String had also gotten used to his contact and he could handle ten minutes with Hearts holding his hands. Then on Thursday Hearts brought up something interesting.

"Hey I've never asked you this but..have you ever went to school?" Although it was a weird question to ask for normal people, String was a special case. He didn't even know what a microwave was.

"For a little bit. Why do you ask?" String lied. String knows what school is but he had never gone to one. He could probably open a portal to one of them and see what happens there. He took a mental note to do that.

"Well when you grow up you'll need a high school diploma and you need to find your soulmate somehow. So I was wondering if you would like to go to school."

String thought for a moment. 'If I do go to school then I could get a job in the future. I should put in the codes that I just need one more year to graduate so I don't need to spend so much time on that. Hmmm..'

"Sure, why not. But explain this soulmate thing."

"Okay sooo..basically a soulmate is someone who will love you for you. And you find out that you're soulmates by a tattoo appearing on your body that symbolizes your soulmate. There's also something to do with your SOUL but I don't know what it is. Do you somewhat understand?"

"Yeah somewhat."

"Okay good cause that's all I know. Anyway I'll register you for school tomorrow. In the meantime do you want to help me make dinner?"

Hearts asked. String always seemed fascinated by cooking so he decided to cook with him. "Oh yeah sure!!" String said trying to hide his excitement although he failed. "Thanks! Well come on!!" Hearts said walking towards the kitchen excitedly.

After dinner String went to his room. He laid in his bed with his pajamas on. He soon pulled up the codes and put in that he was from a faraway city and that he was in high school but he had to attend his family's funeral. He also put in that he only needed one year to graduate with a diploma. 'There. All done. Just need to see what they do tomorrow and see what this soulmate thing is and then I'll be done.' He thought as he rolled over on his side slowly falling asleep.

*In the morning*

String yawned while stretched his back. He looked over to the clock. 5:47. He got up and got dressed. He went out of his bedroom to sit on the couch waiting for Hearts to come out of his room. While waiting he pulled up the codes to where the school was to see what they do.
