"These humans will become like me," Sec said. "Prepare them for hybridization."
"Leave me alone!" Martha shrieked as the pig men tried to shove her forward. "Don't you dare!"
They paused, however, when Happy Days Are Here Again began to play. "What is that sound?" Sec asked.
The Apocalypse poked her head around one of the computers. "That would be me," she answered, setting a portable radio down by a Bunsen burner and walked up to Sec, a dangerous smirk on her face. "Hello, surprise, boo, et cetera."
"Apocalypse," Sec greeted her.
"The enemy of the Daleks!" one of the Daleks shouted.
"Exterminate!" another one called.
"Wait!" Sec ordered.
"Well, then, a new form of Dalek," the Apocalypse looked him over with a critical eye. "I'm no fan, but I admit, this is fascinating and very clever."
"The Cult of Skaro escaped your slaughter."
"I noticed," she said darkly. "Nice to see you boys again, I think not."

"The last four Daleks in existence," the Apocalypse mumbled. "So, what's so special about you?"
"Caly, they've got names," Rose whispered. "I mean, Daleks shouldn't have names, should they?"
"I am Dalek Thay," Thay said.
"Dalek Sec," the black Dalek said.
"Dalek Jast."
"Dalek Caan."
"So that's it!" the Apocalypse realized. "At last. The Cult of Skaro."

"So how did you end up in 1930?"
"Emergency temporal shift."
"And that roasted up your power cells, didn't it?" she smirked, Martha admittedly a bit scared, seeing a side of the Apocalypse she'd never seen before . . . and hopefully never would again. "Time was, four Daleks could have conquered the world, but instead you're skulking away, hidden in the dark, experimenting. All of which results in you."
"I am Dalek in human form."
"What does it feel like?" she asked, genuinely curious. "You can talk to me, Dalek Sec. It is Dalek Sec, isn't it? That's your name? You've got a name and a mind of your own. Tell me what you're thinking right now."
"I feel . . . humanity," Sec answered, turning away.
"Why do I have a feeling I'm not going to like the rest of what you have to say?"
"I feel everything we wanted from mankind, which is ambition, hatred, aggression, and war. Such a genius for war."
"I'll give them that, but that's not what humanity means."
"I think it does," Sec turned to her. "At heart, this species is so very Dalek."
"Don't you dare assume my sisters' species is Dalek when she wasn't in any way shape or form," the Apocalypse snapped, her eyes flaring gold. "But what have you achieved, then, in this Final Experiment? Nothing! Because I know what you're missing . . . with this thing!" She held up the radio. "A simple little radio."
