(A/N: This is what Maddie looks like. This is what she's wearing to Chris's house for the road trip. The phone and phone case on there is her phone.)
Maddie's POV:
I quickly finish my makeup, and it's 5:50. It takes me 10 minutes to get to his house.
I'm not really sure if me and Chris are a thing. I feel like he just did that because he felt bad for me. It's okay though, at least we're great friends.
Mothers POV:
I packed Maddie's bags for her last night. They are already in Chris's jeep.
"Let's go, Mads!" I say, in a happy tone. She comes down stairs wearing a beachy outfit. They are heading down to the beach and staying in a beach house.
"Alright!" She says with a huge smile on her face.
Maddie's POV:
I'm so freaking excited. We are going to have so much fun. Even though it takes 3 and a half hours to get to the beach, it will still be so much fun.
We head into the car, and my mom starts it.
10 minutes go by.
"We're here, Mads!" My mom says.
"Okay!" I say, and quickly get out of the car and run to his door. I knock on it, and in a matter of seconds, his lips touch mine.
"Hey," he says.
"Hey!" I say.
He grabs my hand and holds it as we walk into his gorgeous house. I've been here before, because our parents are best friends. He takes me up to his room while the parents are talking.
"Hey babe," he says.
I look behind me, thinking he's talking to someone else.
"Me?" I ask him.
"You." He says with a smile.
All I do is go in and kiss him. We wrap our arms around each other.
"So what's going on between us?" I manage to mumble while he's kissing me.
"You're my girlfriend," he says with a smile, still kissing me.
"I love you," I say.
"I love you so much more, it's not even funny," he says.
I smile. He wraps his arms around me tighter. I hear a knock at the door. We both turn around right away.
"Chris, Mads," Chris's mom called me Mads since I've known her for a while. "Kelleys here!"
"Okay, just a sec," Chris says. He kisses me one last time. We walk downstairs holding hands.
"What's this?!" Kelley asks.
"Were together now!" I say looking up at Chris. I look back, and Chris kisses me on the cheek.
"Alright you two love birds. You guys better get going!" Mrs. Johnson says.
I walk over to my mom and hug her. "Love you mom," I say.
"Love you too Mads," she says.
Chris says bye to his parents, and we all walk out to his jeep. The roof and doors are off. Chris has 3 seats in the front. Chris drives, I sit next to him, and Kelley sits next to me. I quickly kiss Chris and we smile at each other. Kelley looks over and smiles at us.
Chris quickly turns up, and I hear a ukulele playing.
"I was scared of dentists and the dark! I was scared of pretty girls, and starting conversations!" We all sing to the song.
"Lady, running down to the riptide, taken away to the dark side, I wanna be your left hand man. I love you-"
And at that part, we continued singing but Chris and I looked over at each other. We all looked out the window as the song kept playing and the sunset was beautiful. I found a selfie stick at the bottom of Chris's car. I gave him a confused look, then hooked my phone up to it.
"GUYS LOOK AT THE CAMERA! NOT CHRIS THOUGH, YOU KEEP WATCHING THE ROAD," I said this pretty loud because the wind was louder. We all made silly faces, even Chris, and the picture looked pretty cool.
3 hours of laughter and fun go by, and we are a half hour away.
"A HALF HOUR LEFT GUYS!" Chris said. "SO, MADS, HOW LONG DO YOU THINK WERE STAYING?" He continues.
"THE WEEKEND?" I say.
"NOPE. THE WHOLE MONTH!" He says, looks over, smiles, and looks back on the road. I kiss his cheek, whisper, "I love you," and hug Kelley.
"YOU GUYS ARE MY BESTEST BEST FRIENDS EVER!" I say.
A half hour goes by.
The car slows down and we are at Ocean City. One of my favorite places to go to the beach.
"Our beach house is at some place called 'Sunset Ocean'. It's supposed to be like - super nice. They have their own private pool and beach, and the houses are really cool," Chris says.
"I'm so excited!" I say.
As we pull in, I think about my past. Chris didnt even know I existed. This year, we just started being friends, and the unthinkable happens - he's my boyfriend!
Kelley is asleep, so me and Chris decide to wake her up.
"Kelley! We're here!" We say.
"Hm - what -" she says as she stretches out her arms and slowly opens her eyes. Then after 10 seconds, she shoots up out of her seat, grabs her bags and races inside. We follow her with our bags in our hands and once we all get inside, we suddenly drop our bags in shock.
"Wow," Chris says.
"This is huge!" Kelley exclaims.
"Wow," I say.
We all walk upstairs to the next floor and see the white Quartz countertops and big leather recliner couch and a huge flat screen tv. We walk upstairs to see 6 big bedrooms. We see signs on the door that say our names. But I see 3 signs on the extra bedrooms with 3 different names. One says "Ryan" one says "Bella" and the last one says "Kyle". I knew them all, and we were all friends.
Kelley suddenly grabs my arm and pulls me into her room.
"Yes?" I ask.
"I have a huge crush on Ryan," she says.
"Really? Well he's coming. I'm sure he likes you back," I say with a smile. I hear a knock at the door, because when Kelley brought me in here she quickly closed the door. I walked up to it and opened it.
"Okay you guys need to set up your rooms," Chris says, putting his arm around me. I kiss him real quick, while Kelley is turned around. I walk into my room and hear another knock on the door. This time it's from the big front door.
"I'll get it!" Chris says. He opens the door and Bella, Kyle, and Ryan are there with their bags in their hands. I hear them mumble a few things and then they start walking around. I run to Kelleys room.
"They're here!" I said to her, excited.
"Okay. I'm going to just tell him," she said.
"Good idea," I say.
Once they come upstairs, I say hi, and show them their rooms. They all start setting up. Kelley goes over to Ryan's room and knocks on the door. I walk over to Chris's room.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," he says. "So I was thinking we can all go to dinner at some nice restaurant here. I think it will be fun," Chris says.
"Okay, I'm in," I say.
