Emelie's POV:
As we step off the bus Me and Viv are swept away by the rush of people. As I see the amount of people my breath hitches and I start to panic. And then something else hits me. I forgot to take my anxiety tablet this morning, and I didn't bring them with me.
Viv's POV:
We walk off the bus and into the crowd. I see Lee tense up and look around nervously, before burrowing in her bag and look despairingly around when she can't find something.
I gently guide her away from the crowd into a quiet alley. I smile gently, "You ok?" I ask gently, "You forget something?" I say, hoping she is ok. She nods, "My anxiety tablets. I forgot them today." She replies quietly. I sigh, "Look, I know someone who has some. Would you like me to ask them?" I enquire, she nods and I can see how scared and nervous she is.
I quickly shoot Vicki a text:
Hey, Do you have some spare anxiety tablets? - Viv
I see her typing immediately and wait for the message to come through.
Sure. You ok? - Vix
Yh, my friend forgot her anxiety tablets, that's all - Viv
Ok, where are you? - Vix
The alleyway just off Camden market - Viv
Ok be there in 5 - Vix
I sigh with relief, "She will be here in 5" I say reassuringly to Lee, she nods slowly and starts rocking herself gently. I have no idea what to do so just hum reassuringly under my breath to Lee, it seems to calm her a little so I continue until Vicki arrives.
Vicki arrives with her guitar case over one shoulder and a kit bag full of what I guess is show kit. I smile and wave her over. She runs over, "Who's this?" she asks me, referring to Lee who is currently rocking herself. "Lee, a friend from The Orphanage." I explain quietly. She nods and hands me the tablets. I crouch down to Lee's level and whisper, "Hey, Lee. I got some anxiety tablets." She looks up nervously, takes them out of my hands gently and looked at them, before deciding they were the right ones. popping a couple out the packet and swallowing them.
~10 minutes later~
Lee stands up and walks over to my side. I guess they have kicked in now. Vicki had decided to stick around 'til she knew they were working. "Well, I'm heading to The Other Palace, I can walk you to as far as there." Vicki offered. I look to Lee who nods. I smile, "That would be great thanks Vix." She starts walking and me and Lee keep up easily. We get to the other side of Camden Market and someone yells, "Vicki! Could you play us something?!" Vicki smiles, "If that's ok with you two." I nod and we turn to Lee.
Emelie's POV:
I would love to see the one and only Vicki Manser play but I am too shy to say anything, so I just nod and smile.
Vicki then sets up her guitar, amp, and microphones. I am surprised when she gets more than one out, but she smiles at me, "You are more than welcome to sing too." She offers me and Viv. I love singing, but I am not sure because there are a lot of people. Viv squeezes my hand, "I'll be right next to you." She reassures me, so I nod slowly, "Sure." Vicki smiles, "What song?" She asks me, I shrug, "Maybe Pick Me Up, or Love Me Like the Movies?" I suggest, she nods, "We can do both." I smile gently. She takes her guitar out of it's case and I can't help but marvel at it, it's beautiful. Vicki smiles, "Dya wanna play it in a bit?" she asks. I nod, "If that's ok." She nodded, "Yh, as long as you don't break it, drop it etc." I nod. I would never do that to another guitarist's guitar. She smiles, walks to the mic and gestures for me and Viv to do the same.
