CHAPTER 34 - Back Together

And were officially back together, she picks me up everytime we go to school and just like before she stays sometimes in the diner up until my shift ends. I notice her weight gained back, her skin color didn't look pale, her face don't have those ugly eyebags that shape like a panda. I even notice her changes, like she limit herself to touch me and I'm glad she did because I still feel a bit of scared from what happen.

Either she ask me my permission like "can I gave you a kiss?" She said in shy then she pecked me on my lips. It's been a week since we got back together but there's still an awkwardness sometimes. She even took me on a date and gave me a bracelet that she prepared during the break up, she had a help from Emily!

I asked how's their hangout have been, she told me that they got along just fine. I'm happy that they started to fix their friendship. We spend a lot of time in the library reading, her resting her head on my shoulder... she's been comfortable with it and I let her take a nap sometime.

She's like my pet that keeps following me around since we got back together and it's kinda annoying, I remember David did this too "Maddison don't you have something else to do, like you know... your friends keeps asking out to hangout" I said softly.

"But I wanted to stay with you" she pouts "I'm not going anywhere beside on my work love, I promise we'll hangout soon but not today please..." I frown at her and she sighs.

"Okay fine... " she pouted again she's so cute "c-can I get a... kiss?" She grimace "come here..." I giggled then pecked her soft cherry lips when I pull away she nibble my lips back again to make a steamy long kiss...

Butterflies go crazy around my belly, she bite her lips after then grin blushingly "take care and drive safe okay?" I said chuckling and hops on my bike "you too, babe" she beams happily.

Few days later I decided to take her in the park to hangout for our monthsary, we walked while talking and laughing. We sit under the tree having a picnic, we both have a flowers for each other... How ironic isn't it.

I don't know why but she look so blooming lately, I stared at her longingly while she put food on our plates I brought "here's your pizza babe!" she smiles "thanks, love" I grab it and ate it. Later she put her head on my lap lying down while I brushed my fingers through her hair.

"I'm thinking... " I said, she hummed "do you want me to cook something at your house?" I suggest and she smiles broadly "of course! can we do that tomorrow? Oh! Dads gonna be there as well" she sat up our face are inches apart.

"Wait, your dad will be there?" I raised my eyebrows, she nods grinning "oh gosh" I blinked nervously "please!" She pleaded "im kinda nervous but sure" I smiled then slowly stroke her cheeks, red flushed on her cheeks.

We locked our eyes at each other then lean in for a lingering kiss, she tilted her head kissing me softly and slowly. I gave her permission as I felt her tongue start licking my bottom lip, she started to straddle into my lap grabbing her both waist as she runs her arms wrapping into my neck.

Then when we pull away we both chuckles from blushing madly "you're so red" I said, grinning "and you too" she tap her index finger in my nose, we gazed at each other longingly then drop another soft sweet kiss on my cheeks.

This time she's so gentle with so much love "I miss that" she says burying her face onto my neck inhaling my scent as I did on her shoulder.

Next day we go to the mall for new ingredients for the new dish I'm about to cook "what is it called again?" Maddison ask while driving "it's called adobo it's the famous dish in our country" I said proudly "from the sound of it... I can't wait to taste it!" She beams.
