"Wow! That's a big house alright" I mumbled "I'm already outside your house" I texted her and saw a middle aged woman having a hard time getting the groceries bag out of the trunk of her luxurious suv car
"Here mam let me help you" and pick up the two bags of groceries while she carries one "oh thank you young man" she said and i frown at her she then apologized because she thought i was a guy, i followed her inside at maddisons house
"Here just put it in there" she pointed on the big center table of their kitchen "thank you sweetie, are you new here in the neighboorhood-" she asked when maddison came running down the stairs wearing a floral black sundress
"Mom?" she said "oh Maddie nice for you to come down, what's your name sweetie" she asked me but before I say my name maddison introduce me to her "bailey guiterrez and shes my classmate that i was telling you about the science project" she said flatly and her mom extend her hand for me to hold
"Nice to meet you Bailey, and welcome to our home" she greeted "its pleasure to meet you ms. anderson" i said and shook her hand
"Oh Adelaide is fine" she added smiling "mom where are the maids? you could've just called them" maddison snapped at us "oh I don't know I keep calling them outside, by the way sweetie do I know your parents? Because your name sounds familiar, i think i heard it before" she added
"Oh my auntie's a doctor in the SilverNorth Hospital her name was Elizabeth Ocampo-" her mom exclaimed "oh you mean Eliz! Yes i know her! shes really is a great doctor, i admire her! And i heard a lot of things about you" she said beaming "really?" I said smiling
"Yeah! Anyway go now, do what you have to do. Ill make you some food... Carmilita where are you!" She shouted "oh and maddie" she added and make an eye contact to her, maddison pressed her lips dismissively looking away and continue to walk upstairs to her room
"You got a nice house by the way" i said calmly and she opens the door of her room, it was a big room with a middle size bed in the center and a few trophies on the size cabinet from her cheerleading and medals and a study table with a laptop and photo frame of her and her family where her mom looks like her sister while maddie looks like her dad
"Here i bought some materials for our project, do you have yours?" She said flatly "ah yeah here" and grab it from my bag "I'll start building the mini house and you do the generator... stuff" she said shrugging and i nodded
We talk about the project were working on awkwardly, following the instruction in the book for few hours "alright here you go ladies, we made you a pancake and an apple juice" her mom smiling carrying a tray maddison begins to get confused on her mom
