CHAPTER 5 - The Mad Chic

MADDISON THE MAD CHIC

Its been a few days since maddison confronted us that she nearly attack emily. Its confusing that she's avoiding us now, and not insulting or threaten us.

I wonder what's on her mind maybe she's planning something unusual? I really do hope not. But sometime, she keeps gazing at us and thats weird even though... i find it cute.

"Bailey!" Emily snapped at me "Yeah?" i said "you've been out for 10 minutes. Have you been listening to what i just said?" Oh no..I didnt know ive been gawking for that long.

"Im sorry what was that again?" i said trying to explain and she rolled her eyes at me "I said, do you wanna go to the game this friday?" she asked "i-i dont know.." i replied

while i put my right hand on my cheeks and writing my name in the paper "oh come on, you have to! besides its Northwood High between WestHigh. So jake and kyle is gonna be there its gonna be fun plus its your first time seeing the game. Please? grace and tom will be there too" she begged while showing me her puppy dog eyes.

"okay, okay fine. I'll come" i said in surrender. She exclaimed happily "emily, have you wonder that maddie's avoiding us suddenly? Its weird" i asked curiously "yeah I've notice too, i hope she's not up to something. We just need to be careful okay, i know her.." she adviced.

Tom and grace joined us at lunch "hey what's up guys!" tom greeted "Hey!" emily and i said in unison "what's up?" we added "now you guys talk the same, that's scary" grace said while taking a sip of her juice.

"So what did the mad chic do this time?" tom asked "well as usual, being a war freak" emily said flatly and rolled her eyes "well thats her attitude. Always making a scene because of her jealousy without proving it" grace added while raising her eyebrows.

"Just be careful and always check your things. I saw her with jake yesterday, arguing. Maybe thats why she's trying to avoid you guys" Tom said flatly while he takes a bite of his sandwich.

Maybe jake already know what happen "yeah sweet jake, he always keep defending someone from his girlfriend. I wonder why jake was so distance to her lately, maybe he cant take her anymore?" grace added.

"True! remember last time when maddie pranked ester in the girls restroom and ended up covered in slime..tsk tsk" tom shook his head Thats so mean of her! "She's evil" emily added.

"Why didnt they report it to the principals office?" i asked and they look at me confused "what?" i said "bailey.. maddison's uncle is the principal of this school, didnt you know that?" grace told me and i gasped Ohh thats just great!

"So thats why she can do whatever she wants" Tom smirked Now thats a real problem I sighed heavily.

After lunch we go to our lockers but suddenly something was surprisingly happened when i opened the door, a red slime popped out in the balloon right in front of me!

"WHAT THE!" i mumbled just like we thought she planned something ugh! i wiped the slime in my eyes and glance to emily's direction, but she's already covered in slime as well.

People around us seems to be enjoying their view but some are not.

"Thats it!" i said mentally and slammed the door of my locker and walked towards to maddie's group but grace stopped me instantly and shake her head. seriously grace why are you stopping me?

"Bailey dont!" grace said "out.of.my.way!" i said whispering while i clenched my jaw in anger but apparently Ms. Hale showed up gasping in shocked to see me and emily. Now the crowd goes silent when some other teachers arrived.
