Chapter 11

Tun tun, tun tun, tun tun

That's all I hear before I fully open my eyes, the sound of a heartbeat. I feel a warmth around my waist and, as I remembered Pamela was the one who I last saw before I went to sleep, but I noticed that that isn't her arm.
It's not a females.

It's a males.

My pulse raced thinking that it would be Cameron again, but as I peer up to look at the stranger, I see it isn't a stranger at all.

It's Luke.

He's peacefully sleeping. His chest rising and falling in a slow pattern. His long eyelashes that lay stationary on his cheeks. His messy, blonde hair sprawled out on the pillow and the dark circles under his eyes. A wearing a black shirt with a blue flannel his black skinny jeans with Vans. The usual. Just having him here makes me feel loved and protected.

As I began to shift a little, his arm tightens around me, making his eyes flutter open to reveal those ocean blue eyes. He looks around the room and then to me, giving me one of those dazzling smiles, that can literally brighten a room full of darkness.

"Hey" he says in his raspy morning voice.

"Hi" I reply.

"How are you feeling?"

"I've been better. How about you?"

"Great, now that you're awake."

My heart flutters.

"So, now that you're awake, we can all finally go home."

"All?"

He gets up from the bed to show 8 people lying on the floor, by the door and even on a table.

"Woah," I breathed out, "They came and stayed here just for me?"

"Yup."

"But don't they have the On the Road Again tour to finish?"

"Yes, but they thought that their niece is more important plus, Zayn won't be finishing the tour with them."

My eyes out popped out of my head, "Why?!"

"Too much stress," Luke replied with a poker face.

"Wow," I mumbled, "Wait, where's Pamela? I'm surprised she hasn't checked on me.."

"Are you kidding?! Pamela kept bursting, into this room to see if you're alright and she kept waking everyone up and scaring us half to death and I was afraid that she would wake you up but, she told us you were an extremely heavy sleeper and that's extremely true," Luke said, chuckling at his own "joke,"She's probably just taking a shower."

It took a few minutes to wake up the rest of 5SOS and we even got 4/5 of 1D awake but then there's Niall. I swear that boy can be easily confused with a hibernating bear because of how much he sleeps. We tried and tried but he just wouldn't budge. Then I got an idea. And Pamela came in just in time to help.

"CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. NIALL HORAN YOU JUST WON A LIFETIME SUPPLY OF NANDO'S!!" We shouted in his ear.

He jolted awake, screaming Nando's, furiously looking around the room for food and when he realized there wasn't any, he sat back on the table and just pouted. We all laughed at the heartbroken Niall and went to the front desk to go check me out.

We arrived home and everyone was complaining on having to sleep so uncomfortably except Luke and I. Niall raced to the kitchen to go find some food, Harry was on the couch, scrolling through his phone and Ashton was in the kitchen trying to control Niall telling him not to eat everything in our kitchen. Everyone else was either sleeping, taking a shower or playing FIFA.

Luke and I went upstairs to go play Mario Kart 7. It was safe to say he was losing. It was fun and pretty noisy when I noticed something.

"Luke?" I said. while I paused the game.

"Hmm," he replied not paying attention.

"Why are you acting like this?"

He knitted his eyebrows together, "Acting like what?"

"Acting like," I hesitated," like you like me again."

He looked down, "I've never stopped liking you. Ever. Even when you were dating Cameron or because of our age difference, never. It's always been you and I don't plan on ever stopping."

My eyes watered, I hugged him tightly and gave him a kiss on the cheek which caused him to blush. We spent the rested of the day playing and when night appeared, we cuddled into each other's arms and fell into a deep sleep.
