Chapter 7

*Beep, beep, beep*

I fluttered my eyes opened at the sound of my alarm clock going off, I yawned, sat up, then laid back down again, not really in the mood to get up. When I finally had enough energy, I got up and went to go do my daily routine.

Once I got out of the shower, I headed towards my closet deciding to put on sweats and a shirt because I had no plans today, that was until I received a text from Cameron saying,

"Morning Sky, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date?xx"

"Morning Cam, and yes I would love to go on a date with you."

"Cool. I'll see you at the park on 43 street, at around 1:30. Okay?"

"Yes. Sure, that's fine. Bye, Cameron"

"Bye, love."

I squealed when I finished reading the last text, saw that it's 11:45 and that I have nothing to wear, I immediately called the people I knew would help.

"Oooo gurl, uh uh, take that off, take that off!!" yelled Uncle Louis while clapping, and saying it in the gayest voice ever, which made me laugh.

"How about this one!!!!" said Uncle Harry while showing us one of the ugliest looking dress ever.

"My eyes, my beautiful, innocent eyes!!" wails Uncle Louis, falling dramatically onto the floor, while clapping his hands over his eyes.

"C'mon guys this is serious, I'm meeting Cameron in... 53 minutes, so please, please take this seriously.

"Okay, fine, fine. C'mon Lou, let's go find a cute ass dress!!"

"Ahhh, this is so much fun!!!!"

20 minutes later then came back with the most perfect dress I have ever seen, it was a mid thigh length dress with many colorful patterns and shapes, with a v-neck and and thick black straps (pic above^). They told me to go try it on so, I ran into the dressing room and slipped it on.

"Yassss, work it honey!!," yelled Uncle Harry from the entrance of the dressing room, while clapping his hands and twirling his fingers. I came out of the dressing room, holding the dress, while almost walking past Uncle Louis.

"Okay, now, gimme." said Uncle Louis.

"Why?"

"I'm gonna go buy it, silly" he replied, while bopping my nose.

"No I brought mon-"

"No. I am your Uncle and I will freaking buy it, even if it's the last thing I do!!" he answered heroically.

"Okay. Come Uncle Harry, let's go find the shoes and accessories and whatever else we need."

"Yay!!!" he yelled jumping up and down, receiving even weird looks from people in the store, not that we haven't already.

We finally picked out everything, bought it, and then drove back home. When I got in, Perrie and Eleanor were there. When they saw me they leaped forward, grabbed my hands and ran up stairs. They didn't say anything only a "sit down, please" then they began. They did my hair makeup and nails and since I already took a shower, I just put my outfit on (pic above^). I thanked them and texted Cameron I was on my way there.

When I got there, I saw Cameron laying out a picnic blanket and when he was done, he laid out the food that was in the basket he brought. He finally realized I was standing there when I sneezed.

"Bless you, my love," I blushed at that comment.

"Won't you come and join me, Sky?"

"Sure"

We spent the entire day just talking about absolutely nothin but, it was still pretty fun. After the picnic we walked around the park and just enjoyed each other's company.

When it finally turned 10:30, we decided that we should be heading back to the hotel.

We got to the hotel and went to our floor, he then just held my hands and stared into my eyes, and pulled me in for a long hug, pulled away and looked into my eyes again. After a few minutes of staring, he began to lean in and me being me puckered up and he ended up just kissing my nose, causing me to giggle, though I was thoroughly disappointed. We parted our ways and I headed inside. When I pushed the door back, I hit something and many groans came after. I rolled my eyes, while laughing and opened the door and saw my dad, his friends, my uncles and their girlfriends on the floor rubbing their foreheads. I looked at all them individually and then my eyes landed on Luke. He looked hurt, and sad? I started walking towards him but, he just got up and walked away. Ouch. When I came back to reality, after daydreaming, I didn't hear the "awwws" and "Cameron and Skylar sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G" repeating over and over again and my dad giving a disapproving head shake at that. I said goodnight to everybody and headed to my room, since I was tired form all that walking. I did my essentials, slipped into my pjs and hopped into bed. Memories of tonight came flooding back and I just smiled but, then, again, Luke popped into my head. I got comfortable and started to drift off to sleep, with that lingering memory of Luke in my head...
