My Heart Melts at your smile...

Chapter Two

Kumi's POV

"I'll walk you to your house."

"Eh?" She utter, crossing her arms while giving Fuji a scrutinizing look. As far as she remembered, her house and Fuji's house were in the opposite direction. "Why?"

"Eto..." he scratched his right cheek using his index finger. He seems to think for the right words to use to answer her question.

She took a deep breath, not waiting for Fuji's response, and started to take off. "Let's go then. You'll take me home, right?" she muttered, not facing him.

Fuji silently followed her and walked beside her. She don't know if the tensai new, but she feels like someone was following them. No, she thinks he's not alone. She looked at Fuji to tell him.

"They're following us." he whispered without looking at her. She asked who they were and laughed when she found out. They both made a plan to catch those silly idiots. Both of them suddenly run fast, which leave those bakas behind; it's easy for them to do that since they are both athletes. They turned into the corner and hid there, waiting for those who were following them. Not too long ago, a bunch of heavy foot steps can be heard, indicating that they were about to reach their position. We let them go past us before she made her presence visible. Different shocked expressions were made as she watched them carefully, scanning all their reactions while Fuji smilingly watched her.

"Are you following us?" she started to interrogate the Seigaku's Tennis Club regulars. They all let a caught-in-the-act laugh except for Echizen, who just pout. "If you also want to walk me to my house, you could have said it too. You all look like stalkers, you know." she scolded them while all of them apologize in chorus.

"Gomennasai!"

Kumi's POV

It was Saturday morning, and her volleyball practice just ended. She quickly put her things on her duffle because she and Akiko would be watching the finals of the District Tournament where the Tennis Club is playing. But her best friend had some errands to do with the coach so she told her to go there first.

She just changed her white practice shirt to a light green one, paired with the blue Seigaku jogging pants and her Mizuno shoes. She also redone her braid to look presentable. After taking a quick glance at herself in the mirror, she's now taking her way out of that room.

She rides a bus that will take her to her destination. After a few minutes, she took off the bus and walked inside the tournament's venue.

She walked casually, scanning the place. "Now, where should I go?" she asked herself. She was so busy looking for her cousin and his teammates when she bumped into someone. She accidentally stepped on his shoes, which caused dirt in it.

"Sumimasen." she apologized to the guy in front of her, but he suddenly burst out and pointed a finger at her.

"Look what you have done with my shoes!" he hysterically said while pin pointing his white shoes that was a bit muddy now.

She slightly bowed her head and apologized again, but the guy continued with his babbling. "Are you stupid?!"

Flinching her hands and biting her lower lip with what he said to her. She had enough! She accepts that she didn't see him coming her way, but the same goes for him. She apologized already, and he doesn't have any right to call her stupid!
