Kumi’s POV

She heard a knock on her door.

“Come in!”

The door swung open and Kunimitsu entering her room with a little smile plastered on his face upon seeing her.

“What is it?” she asked and start to braided her hair. Actually, she’s struggling fixing her hair because she can’t decide whether she’ll just do a simple pony, braid it or let it down. In the end she chose the second one. She’s usually seen at school wearing a simple pony and also, she’s not very confident with her hair down because she hates how plain and dull it looks.

She find it weird though that she’s wasted time deciding on that simple matter when before she just leave the house not minding how she looks like. It’s not like she’s going on a date or something.

‘But you’re going out with Fuji' said by her other half. ‘And you literally said it to him when you were in their house.’

‘It’s not a date! We’re teasing each other when I asked that. Besides, this is for our Art class.’

'It's just the same. You two are still going out.’

And before she lost her mind answering the her other half, she turned back her attention to her cousin.

“Fuji is waiting for you downstairs.”

“Eh? But he agreed to meet me at the train station.” She said as she finished braiding her hair.

She took a quick glance of herself on the mirror. She’s wearing a white lousy T-shirt that had a chibi teddy bear design at the center and she tucked it on her denim shorts and paired it with white sneakers.

“You look pretty already.”

“M-mou! Kuni.” She blushed. When did her cousin learn to complement others?

She get her backpack and made sure that all the things she needed are inside her it like the bento she made for both of them. Aside from that she also pack some snacks because she easily get hungry, extra clothes and first aid kit. She used to carrying those stuff so that if she necessarily needed one it will be right on her bag.

Today, she and Fuji will go to Kanagawa. Their first destination was where they had their first field trip back when they were in first year but they also planned to visit other places in the prefecture while they’re there.

“Are you also leaving today?” she asked when she notice Kunimitsu carrying his duffle. “Practice, I guess?”

“Hai.”

Both went downstairs and told Kunimitsu’s parents and Ojiisan that they’re leaving. Kimiko is still in bed, sleeping. She didn’t bother to wake her sister up because she knows that Kim is still adjusting. Japan is seven hours ahead to Germany anyway.

Opening the door, she saw Fuji standing. He‘s wearing a light green polo paired with khaki knee length shorts and pair of white shoes. He looks very pleasant in her eyes.

He plastered a smile upon seeing her. His smile made his eyes seemingly closed. He also nods when saw Kunimitsu.

“Why are you here?” she asked. “I thought we agreed that we’d meet at the train station.”
