" ok so, why have we never met before this. " Makyla asked Naomi. the three were in the kitchen getting drinks. Destinee introduced the two and all of them got along really well.
" i don't know, i wish i moved here sooner. " Naomi s poke, taking a sip from her drink.
" standing here is boring, let's go. "

" you think she wants Jalen? " Imani asked Ryan as they stared from a distance. Ryan was on about how Naomi and Jalen talked her first day of school.
" i know she does, every girl does. " Ryan spoke in a " say-so " tone. Ryan was convinced Jalen was every girls dream boy. he was popular, she had to get used to him being recognized or being friends with girls.
" she needs to watch out, i'll ruin both of their life's . " Ryan continued. Imani just looked at her sideways. sure, Imani didn't really agree with some of her plans, but dare she say no. she'd get on her bad side too.
" i'm sure it's because she's Dior's sister. she's going to be close with the basketball team. she's also pretty well known herself. he just showed her around school. " truly, Imani didn't know what she was overacting for.
" she knows what she was doing. if i can't have Jalen, nobody can. " Ryan spoke before heading to the nearest bathroom to touch up her lipgloss.

" y'all think y'all winning the chip this year? " Jalen asked Bj and Amari, taking a sip of his drink.
" of course, that's the main goal. " Amari replied smiling. he didn't have to do much talking. he was a great player and he knew it.
" our team stacked this year. ain't no way we losin. " Bj added sounding more then confident.
" might have to come see what y'all boys about. " Jalen shrugged. the group always tried to support each other. even with their busy schedules, they supported each other.
" for sure. where yo girl at? " Bj replied, looking around for her. she hadn't even greeted Bj, and it was his party.
" shi, i dont even know. she was trippin earlier so i'm not even gone bother her. " Jalen replied honestly. she knew her, and he knew she was one to blow situations out of proportion.
" she got mad i showed Naomiaround school for her first day. i'm office aide, i had no choice. " Jalen sighed. Bj and Amari just laughed. they knew about how she would act when other girls talked to Jalen, at this point they were used to it.
" trouble in paradise huh? "
