" " surprisingly i've never broken a bone before. " Naomi shrugged.
Naomi and Jalen decided to grab some food and eat on the way home to celebrate tonight's win.
" i'm surprised you haven't. " Jalen laughed as he ate one of his fries.
" same to be honest. "
the pair arrived at Jalen's house in no time.
" thank you so much for the ride. " he spoke sincerely.
" it's no problem. you know i got you. " Naomi replied.
" i'll see you tomorrow. " she finished
" okay, goodnight. get home safe. " Jalen spoke before climbing out the car.
" i'll let you know when i get in. "
soon enough, Naomi was back home.
after showering and putting on her pajamas she was in bed when she remembered to text Jalen.
Naomi💕: i'm home safely, goodnight.
Jalen smiled before texting a 'goodnight' back.

" he did what ? " Ryan yelled into the speaker of her phone.
" went home with her Ryan. " Imani replied for the hundredth time.
Ryan could feel her eyes start to water at the picture of Jalen and Naomi waiting in line for food and the following video of him walking back to her car.
' im so done with him. " Ryan spoke as her voice cracked. Imani honestly felt relieved, she was tired of hearing about Jalen and Naomi every second of the day.

" what y'all on after school today? " Nimari asked the group as he sat down.
" shi jus practice. " Destinee replied earning head nods from the others at the table.
" heard you. " Jordan replied drinking some of his water .
" hi baby. " Jalen spoke as Ryan reached the lunch table.
" don't hi baby me. " Ryan spoke before sitting with the group for lunch.
" here we go. " Coleman laughed.
" whats up with you? " Jalen asked confused as to why she already had an attitude with him.
this is the first time they had talked all day.
" all you do is lie Jalen. "
" i haven't lied about anything. " he replied
the cafeterias attention started to center
around Jalen and Ryan's conversation.
" you know what you did Jalen. "
" Ryan what are you talking about. "
Jalen was genuinely confused.
" i'm breaking up with you. " Ryan said loudly.
Ryan knew the attention she was drawing to the two and she loved it.
she knew Jalen didn't and that's what pushed her to continue.
Jalen felt as if his heart had broke into a million pieces.
not only did Ryan break up with him, she did it in front of the whole school.
" are you serious rn. " Jalen asked.
" why wouldn't i be. " Ryan laughed.
Ryan got up and left the cafeteria.
Jalen looked around and saw people holding up their phones, recording the whole situation. Jalen was well known so him being recorded was a common occurrence.
" na this is too much. "
with that being said, Jalen grabbed his belongings and headed to his car.
his friends called after him but he didn't look back, they decided it would be best to let him be alone for a while.
Jalen sat in his car as tears flew from his eyes.
