" you think i have time to go back to sleep? " Jalen asked his dad, Marcus, as they stopped at a red light. " no, but you definitely have time to get your ass in the shower. " Marcus laughed just as the light changed green. Jalen had just left his training session. morning workouts are proved to get you going for the day, according to his dad.
as the pair pulled into their driveway, Jalen grabbed his bags and rushed upstairs to take a shower.
6:15 am
after his shower, he threw on a matching, gray ' prolific prep ' sweatsuit. paired with his cool gray 11's. Jalen grabbed his bookbag and headed downstairs. " morning mom. " he spoke, kissing her on the cheek. his mother, Bree, was on the phone with Dior and Naomi 's mom.
" i'll make sure Jalen helps in any way to get her settled in. " Bree voiced into the phone. hearing that, Jalen scrunched up his face in confusion.
" Dior's sister just moved in, she will be going to prolific, do your best to help her find her way. "
he nodded in response. Jalen knew Dior had a sister but never got the chance to meet her. he has seen her play volleyball via Dior's Instagram or Snapchat stories, but never really cared enough to ask about or meet her.
" okay I gotta go, bye Jurnee! " Jalen waved to his little sister who was sitting on the couch. he grabbed an apple and was on his way to school.
6:45 am
" hey, girl " Destinee called out. Naomi just got to school and was completely clueless about where her class was. to her luck, Destinee found her. " I have no idea where my class is. " Destinee laughed. " come on, I'll take you to the office so we can find an aid. "
" good morning ladies, how may I assist you? " a lady who wore pink glasses spoke as the girls made their way to her desk . " this is Naomi , she's our newest student. "
" oh my goodness it is so nice finally to meet you. i am principle jones! " the lady exclaimed. " goodmorning! its nice to meet you as well. " Naomi smiled. " is it okay if I show her to her classes? " Destinee asked eagerly. " Destinee, you need to get to your first block, one of my aides will help her around. " Principle Jones laughed.
Destinee gave Naomi a quick hug before leaving the office. " Jalen, we have a new student. Naomi Miller. may you please show her around? " Principle Jones yelled into a room down the hall. shortly after Jalen waked to the front of the office.
Jalen Green? he looks even finer in person.
Jalen Green. Naomi knew of Jalen because her brother plays with him. number one ranked player, who doesn't know him?
" I'm Jalen, nice to meet you. " Jalen put his hand out for her to shake it. " I'm Naomi , nice to meet you too. " she replied, smiling. " yea I know. " Jalen smiled back. " here's a copy of her schedule, show her around but don't forget to show her to her classes. "
" after you. " Jalen smiled as he opened the door for her. " where to first? " Naomi asked excitedly.
