We were quiet sitting in front of Chief's table, we were waiting for him because he said he wants to get coffee before the discussion. I can feel Ian's heavy sighs, he's indeed nervous. I didn't bother to talk to him after seeing his phone earlier. I don't have any idea if he knew that I saw that message from Doc. Iza. Well, should I care at all? Why am I thinking of it in the first place?

We stood properly when we heard the door banged, the Chief is already here.

"Good afternoon, Doctors." He offered a handshake which we gladly accepted, "Doctor Veneracion and Doctor Salonga."

I just shrugged off.

"Doctor Veneracion, one of the best surgeons in town!" The chief compliments, sarcastically.

"This i-is not t-the right time to address me that way, sir." Ian says trying his best not to stutter.

"Well, at least you know what you did. You are aware of your wrongdoings. Shall we start the debriefing?"

Sus. If I know, talagang favorite lang ni Doc Uncle 'yang si Ian. Because during the time when we were together, he always drinks with Ian. They had a good bonding and a good time together not until when we broke up.

"I am completely aware, Chief, and I am truly regretful of what I did. What happened yesterday is very traumatic, as for me." He glanced at me, "And I would like to personally apologize to you, Doctor Carm—Doctor Salonga. Buenaventura's parents really wanted a DNR form—we talked to them before this. Ang mali ni Doc Ian, he made a DNR form without my permission and he did that before the surgery—"

The chief shakes his head, "Not your patient, yet you made a DNR form."

"Nawala po sa isip ko, papunta na akong O.R. noon." He reasoned out. Yeah, dude.
