After doing my work, I quickly went to the lounge because Gerard and Mom are already waiting for me. They are so early wherever they go, that's why the word 'late' isn't invented in our family. I remember when we were still kids, the one who wakes up late will be prohibited to get chocolates from the fridge. I always win because Gerard always sleeps late those times. Ah, memories.

I reached the lounge and there they are, sitting and patiently waiting for me.

"Hi guys!" I kissed and hugged them both, "Is it traffic?"

"Not at all." Gerard answered, "How was work, sis?" We started walking outside because I might get late if we continue our chitchats in there.

"Tired?" Mom asked me.

"It was—" I paused, "normal? I guess. Not too tired, I'm just sleepy. I will sleep the whole flight, I badly need to rest." I sighed and entered the car.

"You always need to rest, anak. You are so workaholic, give time for yourself." My mom raised her voice and Gerard is smirking already.

Loko 'to!!! He always likes it when my Mom reprimands me!!!

"Absolutely! You heard mom? Pinapagalitan ka na." He chuckled as he started the engine.

"Wala kang takas, Geri! You always forget to drink water, being a Conductor is tiring you know." I glanced at my brother and pulled my tongue out.

"Precisely, mom! It's like dancing zumba the whole afternoon." I laughed while shaking my head, "But seriously, Ger, stay dehydrated. I will buy you tumbler in Italy."

"Yes, please."

"Gerard," My mom called, "Diba, you want to tell Ate something?" My mom smirked, while me, I'm looking at them vice versa, waiting for them to spill what they wanted to spill.

"What is it, bunso?" I asked right away.

"Yeah, I will tell you but please stop calling me bunso. I'm so big now—"

"Bigger than Ate." My mom interrupts.

"Geri, no matter how big you are, you are still my 3-year old baby brother." I pinched his cheek and then he grumbles.

"He's annoyed already, how will he tell you now?" My mom told me because we all know that Gerard is short tempered. He's very sensitive and pikon in many ways.

"Ayoko na. I'm not in the mood to tell it na." He uttered which made my brow raise.

I pinched his shoulder, "Tell me now. What is it?"

He started to laugh, "You should've seen your face!!!"

"Mga baliw." My mom caressed her forehead.

"Okay, I'm trying to be serious now." Gerard cleared his throat.

"Go!"

"I—" He scratched his head, "I have a girlfriend."

"You have a what? A ginger friend?" I jest as if I didn't clearly heard what he said. But I did.

My brother has a girlfriend.

"Girlfriend, sis. Girl-friend."

I stared at my mom for a second, I'm surprised and happy at the same time. The tragic accident that happened to her fiancé five years ago really hit him. He accused Doc Uncle for not saving his future wife, we cannot blame him for that. We were happy living in one roof but Doc Uncle needed to distance himself. That was a tough year, I cried and cried and cried. Doc Uncle stood as my father and the accident affected our family. I tried to talk to Gerard about that matter many times but he keeps ignoring it.
