This is my favourite chapter !!!!!
I only used one line from their lyrics this chapter. "faces made for daylight" ---this chapter is the start of the curse.60s Alistair is wearing the T in the park outfit
This is---an emotional one. I honestly felt a lot of pain writing this one. I HAVE 5 DAYS OFF!!!!! I am already working on the next chapter to post for Tuesday!!

The first day of spring
March 20, 1965 - Tranquility Base Hotel, CaliforniaAlistair stood in front of the long mirror of his bedroom, buttoning up his black shirt. His tousled hair fell over his eyes as he focused on the buttons. A song played in the living room, a song they teased him with.
Goin' to the chapel and we're
Gonna get married
Goin' to the chapel and we're
Gonna get marriedMalakai's voice erupted in laughter outside the halls. Alistair couldn't help but chuckle at his best friend's contagious laugh. Jackson and Marcus joined in mockingly singing the song.
Spring is here, the sky is blue, whoa-oh-oh
Birds all sing as if they knew
Today's the day we'll say, "I do"
And we'll never be lonely anymore"Oi!" Malakai walked in with a beer in hand. "Come on Al, I've got a yummy meal waiting for you and she just took a hit so —you better dive in."
Alistair brushed his hair back shaking his head. He looked in the mirror at Malakai who stood by the door behind him. Malakai wore a white buttoned up shirt under his fitted green suit. Alistair didn't want any of his groomsmen to wear tuxes as it was Tabitha's wish. She didn't want a traditional wedding, except for the chapel part of the ceremony to appease her family. The actual wedding party will take place at the cabaret.
He smiled into the mirror. "Mate, it's 11 in the fucking morning. I'm literally getting married this afternoon. I need to be on my best behaviour."
Malakai rolled his eyes huffing a laugh. "It's your last day as a vampire! You won't get a high like this again I guarantee it."
Alistair pushed his tongue against his cheek as he hallowed his mouth. He contemplated the thought but he shook his head.
"No." He turned around grabbing his blue vest. "I promised Tabitha I wouldn't for the ceremony. "
Alistair pulled his blue vest on and turned to Malakai raising a brow, smiling.
"Now as far as the actual wedding party—well." He chuckled knowing he wasn't going to pass up a chance to party one last time as a vampire.
"That's my boy." Malakai grinned. He took a sip of his beer eyeing Alistair's suit. He winked at him. "Looking sharp."
Alistair turned to the mirror and looked himself over. He wore a blue suit over a black shirt with a black small scarf tied around his neck, right above his golden chain. He pressed his lips down, nodding in approval.
Marcus moved into the door frame behind Malakai holding a bottle of beer.
"Hey- just to let you know Jackson and I ate your lunch." He smiled, licking blood off his lips.
Alistair chuckled. "Fuck I'll miss that. Jackson?" He called out. "Can you come here and bring me a drink I wanna make a toast."
Jackson eventually joined them with a beer for himself and one for Alistair. Alistair gestured for them to stand around and focus in.
