Finland x reader ~ Just Us

You were currently at the Nordics house. You were invited because you were all going to watch a movie. But in the end one out of the five ended up staying.

"Sorry -your name-" a loud Denmark yelled from the other room.

You were sitting on their couch alone, waiting for the others to gather.

"Why? Is everything okay?" You asked.

He walked into the room.

"I just got a call from my boss. He said that one of the factories in my country needs help. They want to uptade their machinery to Denmark's finest, and of course I would know whats the best... I'M DENMARK" he explained to you.

You nodded.

"Well... OK... Have fun then..." You said.

He grabbed his coat, gave a small wave, and left.

You waited a while until someone else walked in.

"Sorry... I cannot attend today" a monotone voice spoke from behind you.

You recognized the voice right away

"Why Norway? Is something the matter?" You asked.

We walked over to you and sat beside you on the couch.

"There is a festival in Norway today and I have to be there" he answered

"Well, that's okay... We can do something another day.. " you said.

"Thanks for understanding" he replied.

He got up, grabbed his coat and walked outside.

As soon as the door closed, you hear a bird fly into the room. It landed on your shoulder.

"He lied, he lied!" The bird chanted.

"Mr puffin, what are you talking about?" You asked the bird

"Icy told you he was free today, but he promised me we were going to fish today." He explained.

Suddenly Iceland burst through the door.

"I'm sorry -your name-, I promised Mr puffin that we were going to fish." He said while picking up Mr puffin and putting the bird on his head.

"Its okay" you replied.

He grabbed his coat and walked out the door.

You sat alone for a bit, twiddling your thumbs until you felt a hand on your shoulder

"I need to go" he said.

Your turned your head to see Sweden looking at your face.

"I was called by my boss to sign papers" he continued.

"Okay, we can reschedule if you like" you responded

"That would be nice" he said, walking to get his coat, he then left.

You sat in the room. You knew at this rate Finland would need to leave, and then you would go home. Suddenly a very happy Finland entered the room

"Hiya -your name-" he said cheerfully. He walked over to you and sat beside you

"Let me guess... You need to leave too" you said, looking down at your hands

"Nope, I'm free today! I did promise you we were going to watch a movie right?" He answered.
