Nikolai walked down the hallway. It has been two days since Coraline's disappearance and three days since.. well, Coraline and Nikolai's fight.

And Nikolai? The boy is just.. insane by now. Funny what guilt and murder can do to you. Lost of appetite, loss of sleep, memories of the two flashing at random times in his head. It was fucking horrible.

But he couldn't remember him killing her.

He doesn't know if he's grateful for it or not. On one side, he wouldn't see the love of his life dead because of his own hands. On the other, he would know the hidden truth.

But still.. he could remember their fights. He could remember the times they had sex everywhere in the school, his place, her place, anywhere. He could even remember their soft moments, whenever he would hold her after they apologized to each other for going too far in an argument. The first time they made love to each other, and how they held each other the whole night. Their first soft kiss, how gently it was and how her hands played with his hair as he wrapped his arms around her waist so gently. Their first actual date, and how he gave her his sweater after the night was chilly and how adorable she looked because of how big it was on her. He remembered all of the butterflies that roamed in his stomach every time she smiled him. He could remember everything.

But he couldn't fucking remember murdering her. It just isn't possible.

The boy stopped at his locker, letting out a shaky breath. He already had a huge headache this morning, and trying to remember what went down is only making it bigger.

He stopped when he heard a voice coming from the principal's office, just a few feet away from his locker. The boy's face dropped as soon as he recognized the voices.

It was Mr. and Mrs. DeVille.

His heart sank as he heard Mrs. DeVille crying. Nikolai knew it was probably about bringing Coraline's belongings back home.

Which would mean it was official that she's gone.

No, no. It has to be for something else. It can't be that easy. They can't give up that easy. She has to be alive. She has to.

Nikolai jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked over at who touched him and felt relief wash over him as he saw Raphael.

Raphael chuckled, "Come on- it's just me. Don't act so jumpy, that's totally suspicious dumbass."

Nikolai rolled his eyes, "Glad to know."

The two boys sat next to each other in their history class. Was it boring as hell? Yes. Were the two extremely distracted? Also yes.

The whole class was filled with tiny whispers as the teacher, Mr. Langston, taught them about.. god knows what. But suddenly, the door opened and everyone stayed silent.

Nikolai looked up, his eyebrows furrowing. What the hell were an officer and the principal doing here.

"Nikolai Romano?"

The boy's blood immediately drained from his face. Oh god. Oh fuck. Oh shit.

"W-What? W-Why me?" the bit stammered as he stood up.

The principal sighed, "Just cooperate and they'll tell you about it at the station."

At the station? Oh god. They know. They fucking know. But how?!

Nikolai's head snapped in the direction of his best friend. Betrayal clearly filled his blue orbs as he took a step towards the boy.

Raphael shook his head rapidly, "I-I didn't-"

And then.. he saw it.

He saw the redhead in the corner of the room with a smirk on his face. Oliver fucking Bailey. The look on his face, he definitely did something.

Nikolai didn't even wait one second before he raced to the back of the classroom. Before anyone knew it, the brunette was on top of the redhead, giving no mercy as he punched his jaw, cheeks, nose, throat, anything that he can get his hands on.

Oliver was too surprised to fight back, pathetically letting every punch get to him. Nikolai stood them up, the adrenaline giving him even more strength than he has had to just pin him on the wall by his throat, causing him to choke the living hell out of Oliver.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" were the only words anyone could hear.

Finally, Nikolai felt big hands shove him down the floor, his hands on his back. He heard Oliver gasp for air, probably crying about what just happened. He saw all the faces with horror on them, everyone clearly scared of the boy. He tasted the blood on his mouth, the metallic taste snapping him back into reality.

The officer cuffed his hands together, shoving him back up. The blue eyed boy gulped as he looked around frantically.

"Nikolai Romano, you are under arrest for the murder of Coraline DeVille, anything you say and do will be used against you in the court of law."
