Raphael walked around the house, trying to look for the security room. The security room, also known as the room that may tell the truth that will set his friend free.

After about ten minutes (the DeVille house is unsurprisingly big), he was able to find it. He entered the room and immediately took notice of all the different cameras.

The boy chuckled in victory and looked to see which one led to the outside of Coraline's room- and bingo! He found it.

Rafe, being the smart boy he is, rewind the footage to see the night that Coraline disappeared. After another ten minutes, he got the footage. He knew he was getting somewhere.

And it wasn't until he saw the footage of Coraline getting out of her house that he realized he can actually set Nikolai free.

Nikolai walked into Coraline's room, a mix of nostalgia and gloom washed over him almost immediately.

The room's white and light pink walls were left untouched. It was as organized as the last time he got here. Everything- from the bed to the vanity, not a single thing was out of place.

She never liked her room a mess. It would make her feel.. out of control.

The boy let out a shaky breath as he sat down on her vanity chair. He looked at the mirror, and a small photo caught his eye. He quickly turned on the lamp that was on the vanity's desk, and his eyes softened almost immediately.

It was a polaroid of him and Cora.

He remembers that day vividly. It was the first time that he actually came to her house. She was the one that invited him, and they spent almost all night talking and getting to know each other. It was the first of many nights like that.

Sure, they acted like they hated each other's guts at school, but no one knew each other better like them two.

He was just surprised, and honestly so fucking sad, that she actually kept the photo. That meant she has cared for him since the beginning. Just the thought of accusing her of the opposite makes him angry at himself for the mistake he did the night of her disappearance. He was drunk, but he still should have kept his mouth shut.

Nikolai wiped away the small tears forming in his eyes. He hesitantly took of the ring in his hand, the one that belonged to Coraline.

The boy gently placed a kiss on the ring before he gently laid it on the vanity. His voice was barely a whisper, and his broken heart hugged his tone, "I promise you, I will find whoever did this to you. I will kill them with my bare hands. I'm going to avenge you, Coraline. I swear I'll kill them.. even if it's me."

All of a sudden, Raphael walked into the room, "Niko?"

The blue eyed boy hesitantly turned to his best friend, acting like he wasn't just tearing up, "Did you uh, did you find anything?"

Rafe decided to ignore the small sniffles Nikolai let out, simply because he could comfort him later, "Yup. I found out who was actually the last person to see her."

"Well? Who was it?"

"Oliver Bailey."
