4 year ago today (thanksgiving) Alvah was 16 then.
It was thanksgiving! I was excited to eat some good food and talk to my family.
I got dressed into my favorite white flowing dress. It was dinner time so I hopped down stairs to be greeted with snarls and fake smiles.
Lately I've been in the paper for partying which wasn't that big of deal I was just having fun.
During dinner, I was grabbing a plate, throwing mash potatoes, green beans, some ham.
"Put some of that back" My mother snarled in my ear. I looked at her like she was crazy. "But I'm going to eat it" I said walking away with my full plate.
After dinner was over it was time for dessert. I was pulled away from the table by my mother.
"Your embarrassing us, eat like a lady" She snarled digging her nails in my arm. I nodded before walking back into the kitchen. As I denied dessert and any other food I sat there.
Later I was walking into the kitchen, I looked at the pie just sitting there, My stomach growled as my mind told me not to do it.
I grabbed a fork closing the cabinet I hesitated before walking over to the pie.
I stabbed the fork in the pie, before eating it. As tears fell down my face.
What was I doing to myself. Fat Ugly Disgraceful
Words just kept ringing through my head. Once I finished the pie it was gone so was my confidence. As I walked to the bathroom.

Today was thanksgiving, I didn't want to go down for dinner or nothing. It's usually the worst day of the day for me.
I stayed in bed into 10:00 pm when Hope, Elizabeth came marching in closing the door behind them.
