It's been weeks since the accident, I haven't talked to Elijah. More like avoided him, I haven't went to Susan's in weeks.
As I opened my computer ready to do a paper I have to write for law school.
About growing up, my childhood
This was a hard assignment, seeing my childhood was ignored I felt invisible. Sadden. A way a child should never have to feel.
I wasn't free, always homeschooled. I hated the way I never got to do normal things. Such as go to prom, Hangout at the mall with my friends, sleepovers. I never got to live to my fullest.
Trapped...
Writing half of the essay, I stopped because it was time for dinner.
The team mostly always had dinner together, which was great. I guess..
Sitting down at my seat, everyone took their seat as I made up fake scenarios in my head to keep me busy.
"Alvah"
Snapping out of my thoughts I looked up at Brandon. "Yes?"
"Next week is the ball" Brandon reminded me, which was the last thing I wanted to remember.
Seeing me and Elijah aren't talking , going to a ball with him probably isn't the best idea.
"So we need to go dress shopping" Hope clapped loudly.
Me and Elizabeth sent her a look "Im good" I shrugged.
"Alvah, Why not?"
"I just don't want to"
I finally built up the courage to talk to Elijah, you know that unnecessary nervous pit in your stomach. Yeah I was feeling that.I've never just felt nervous being around Elijah I mean occasionally my heart rate would accelerate by a lot but.... Yeah.
Since his door was open I knocked, as he looked up from this note book, I didn't know he wrote or draw. Whatever he was doing.
