""My name is Park Sandara." She bowed again. "Nice to meet you sir, you can call me Noona.""

Jimin was rolling on his bed dreading the moment the alarm would go off and would indicate his time to get out of bed. It was Tuesday and if there was one thing he was sure of was that he had messed up. He remembered waking up on Monday with a different kind of perspective, he had been willing to do anything in order to make things fine between Jungkook and him. He wanted to fix things, to make the awkwardness go away and he had one advantage over Jungkook. He could play the card that he didn't remember anything. At one point he almost gave his whole stunt away. It had felt so good when Jungkook had called him hyung that night that he forgot he had to pretend not to remember. That sentence had slipped from his lips, but luckily he had been fast enough to think of an excuse and dissuade the younger. He could remember how Jungkook's eyes had seemed to pop out of its sockets the moment he heard the words: "It's not like you haven't done it before."
Everything had been going north. Jimin had even achieved to make the younger one call him hyung. He was feeling lighter and like the air was becoming less tense by the moment, until... he had to be too dense and ruin it all. Why couldn't he just keep things professional? Why did he keep on trying to make the younger stand behind him so that he could smell that minty sweet scent again? Why did said younger seem not to want to make any physical contact, all of a sudden? But most importantly. Why in the whole world did that girl have to interrupt them at that exact moment?
Aish! Jimin thought, frustrated. They had been so close! He remembered how Jungkook had stared at him, how he had started to reduce the space between them... Jimin swore the 23 year old was going to kiss him... If only the receptionist hadn't interrupted them... Jimin couldn't help but wonder. Would Jungkook really have kissed him? He remembered the hunger in the younger's eyes, he seemed so determined, so sure, but...
Jimin sighed. How much he had wanted to punch that girl's little face. It took almost all his will and might not to yell his lungs out after she decided to get inside his office, without fucking knocking, may he add!
"Who fucking does that?!" He suddenly yelled into the air. He was so frustrated he couldn't even keep his thoughts to himself. But seriously, what kind of receptionist doesn't knock?
It didn't matter though, the moment was ruined and all Jimin could do now was pray the younger wouldn't shut himself up again. It had taken a huge effort from Jimin to get Jungkook to open up even a tiny bit. He suddenly felt a pang on his stomach at the memory of how cold Jungkook had turned after that failed situation. He had gone silent, only uttering sounds like "hm" or "yeh" or just limiting himself to nod, everytime Jimin would ask a question. The latter had tried not to talk too much in orden not to push the younger's limits after the inexplicable scene. The rest of the day had gone by almost in silence and they had gone home early due to the fact that Jungkook had done half of their work for that day, last Saturday.
