"...so he grabbed his phone from his nightstand and looked in his contacts..."

Even though dinner with Jimin didn't go as well as Jungkook would have hoped, they were able to get through it and finish it nicely. They had a minor bump on the road but they were able to apologise in the end and leave it in the past. All Jungkook prayed for from now on was not to get more surprises, at least not until Hoseok's party. They both still had so many things to take care of and they only had a week. During dinner they had only been able to agree on the general idea but the actual difficult part was what came next. Jungkook dreaded the moment when Jimin told him to call a stranger and ask him to send them pictures. Aish! He had never been able to talk to strangers, it just made him nervous and it upsetted his stomach, making him run to the bathroom like a little kid.
He only wished Jimim would take care of that part and he would only have to buy the things to make everything look pretty, but he wasn't that naive to think that the older would let him off that easily.
Already in his night clothes, Jungkook slumped on his bed. It had really been a long day. He was used to finishing work and going straight home. Going to dinner after work had been a whole new challenge for his body and he was now feeling the aftermath. Jungkook was already going to turn off the lights and go to sleep when he remembered he had to send Jimin the name of the book Namjoon had just published, so he grabbed his phone from his nightstand and looked in his contacts, trying to find the words "Park Jimin-hyung" because that was what he had told Jimin to save himself as, right?
Of course. Jungkook thought. Of course there is no contact named "Park Jimin-hyung". Aish! This meant that Jungkook hadn't imagined the smirk he thought he saw on Jimin's lips when the latter was holding his phone. A frustrated Jungkook went through the list of contacts trying to find what the older had saved himself as. When... There's no way... There is no way in the world he saved himself as... that. Nope! That's impossible!
Jungkook locked his phone and threw it on his bed, not believing his eyes. What was Jimin's deal? Did he want to drive him crazy or something?
Breathing deeply he grabbed his phone again and tapped on Jimin's contact to rename it. He wasn't exactly sure that it was Jimin's contact but he didn't remember saving any contact under the name:
✨❤️ My Favourite Hyungie ❤️✨
Once he had renamed the contact he sent the name of the book, turned off his phone and went to sleep without seeing whether Jimin replied or not.
The next morning Jungkook went to work a little early so he sat down in the break room area until it was time to go to work. He took his phone and saw that Jimin had sent him some messages. The first one was Jimin saying thank you for the book title and the second one asked him if he wanted to meet during lunch break on the roof of the building to keep on working on the party. Jungkook therefore replied by saying yes and put away his phone. Everything finally seemed to be going north. He could be calm during work, he could spend time with Jimin without feeling the urge to kiss him and... Hold up! Kiss him? Jungkook, what the hell is wrong with you?! He shook his head and went out to get a bit of cold air to sort out his thoughts.
