No passwords hidden here. You should still read them though, cause it'll be mighty embarrassing for you if I have to call you out on something.
1. Be descriptive. I'm actually fine with one liners in some cases, but those should really only be used in back-and-forth dialogue. (Cause it can be awkward when you feel like you need to right a paragraph just to respond to a question). Still, try to put at least 3 sentences on average.
2. No Metagaming. It sucks. For those who don't know, Metagaming is when your character responds to something they don't know but you as a player does. For example:
Isla nodded to her teammates before leaving, creeping along the outside of the windows of the building. She moved as quietly as she could as to not attract the attention of the opponents inside. The plan they had discussed in secret was for her teammates to distract their opponents while she snuck away to rescue the hostage.
Gary, who had been obliviously bashing his head against the wall up until that point suddenly felt the urge to look up and behind him. "There she is!" He called out, pointing at the stealthy student. "Don't ask how I knew she was there, but I did! And something tells me her teammates are on the floor beneath us, exactly 2ft from the far left wall, planning to come and attack us while she sneaks away and saves the hostage!"
Yeah, don't do that. It sucks.
3. Don't be overpowered. Yes, in this roleplay your students have about 2 years experience in hero education, so I will be lenient with powerful and skilled you will be since your characters will have had time to develop. However, your character still can't have something like a punch that hits like a nuclear bomb or the ability to take complete control of the entire classes' minds.
4. Don't be a Mary/Gary Sue. Oh yes, I know how wonderful it would be to have a class full of uwu soft bois and sweet shy girls. But that's just not gonna happen. Your character will have a lot of good things about them, but they're sure gonna have just as many, if not more flaws.
5. Don't be an Anti-Sue. On the other hand, don't be a force of ass-holery. Someone who introduces themselves by kicking the door down, pointing at the class while spouting slurs, breaks a window, takes a shit on the desk, and then punches the teacher isn't cool or fun at all. They just suck.
6. Take the L. You're not going to win every fight. It's just a fact, I don't want to see two students beat themselves to a bloody pulp because neither wanted to step down, read the situation, and recognize when your character should lose the fight. It's good roleplay etiquette and everyone will like you better for it.
7. Etc. There's countless stuff about etiquette and rules I could go on about, but we'd be here forever if I did. Just acknowledge that as the owner, I can and will speak up about any issues I see, even if they aren't specifically stated here in the rules.
8. No Canon Quirk/Character. By this I mean to avoid powers existing specifically in the My Hero Academia universe. Similar powers and stuff is fine, I just don't want any carbon copies, same goes for existing characters in any franchise. I don't see it often, but I don't accept existing characters for real franchises. Make original characters
