The first thing you say when you see me is,
"How was your day?"
And I always reply with
"It was fine."
Or a different word for fine
Or even just a shrug
Because it really wasn't as fine as I made it out to be
It was more..
How do you say it?
Agonising.
Dramatic I know,
Before you try and insult me with your
'get a grip'
Or your
'I have it worse'
I get it,
My day probably wasn't as bad as yours.
Besides, the having to hide in a bathroom cubicle at every single social situation.
Besides, the grasping onto my stomach with all my might in the middle of lesson because of how my pants look on me.
Besides, the crying in the middle of class and absolutely nobody noticing.
I mean, Id rather they didn't notice
As I can't sit there in the middle of my teacher droning on about some stupid maths equation, telling you every single little detail about my life.
I just can't.
And as soon as you ask me if I'm okay
The tears will not hold back,
And will quite literally make this school a fast flowing sea.
But yes.
My day..
"It was fine."
