I hate the way I miss interpret words,
Words such as
"Okay"
And
"I will stay."
They are so simple,
Yet so devilish
As the texts turn into weeks
Of having to weep
And get no sleep
As I lay on the bathroom floor
Taking no more
I bring the blade up to my leg
And beg
For everything to be okay.
Why won't this just go away?
