Hardin's POV:

We walk to the restaurant next door. It's not crowded, a waitress come towards us and asking for how many seats we want, we said two, and she lead us to, two chairs table seats.

I take the menu, and order a shitload of food were my eyes lays, on his tab. And I let him take my binder to read a few
pages of my confessions.
Twenty minutes later I had to put an end to it. He would
have read the entire thing if I'd let him. And snatch it form his grasps.

"This is amazing,
really, man. This is . . . fucked-up in some parts, but I get it.
It wasn't you talking, it was the demons." he says and take a sip of his root beer.

"Demons, huh?" I take a long draw, finishing off the root
beer in my glass.

"Yeah, demons. When you're drunk, you are full of them."
He smiles. "Some of this I just read, I know wasn't written by
you. It had to be the demons."

I shake my head. He is right, of course, but I couldn't
help but picture a creepy little red dragon-thing on my
shoulder, writing the fucked-up shit that was on some of
those pages, with a malicious laugh.

"You'll let her read this when you finish it, right?" He asks.
I dip a cheese stick into some sauce and try not to
cuss him out for ruining my amusing thoughts about little
demon creatures.

"No. No way would I let her read this shit." I tap my finger across the leather binding, remembering how excited Tessa was for me to use it when she bought it. I fight the idea, of course, but now I love the stupid thing.

"You should. I mean, take some of that twisted stuff out,
especially the part about her being infertile. That was just
wrong."

"I know." I didn't look at him; I look down at the table
and cringe, wondering what the hell was going through my
mind when I write this shit. I
writing all the shit happened to me and to her, and that was one of them which nearly broke her from inside and she drank too much of wine at Vance house after finding it out again. So wrote it.

"You should consider doing more with it. I'm not expert on
literature or Heningsway, but I know that what I read was
really, really good."
I swallow, choosing to ignore the mispronunciation.

"Publish this?" I chuckle. "No fucking way." I end the
conversation here.

"Anyway, what are you doing tonight? We should hang out for a bit." He suggests.

"Nah, I'm good. I'm just getting new tattoos, and get some sleep." I say to him, and look down at my arms, there is no space even left there to cover. What's tattoo should I even get?

"Come on man, just you, me and my girlfriend as a dinner plan, nothing more. We don't do parties like your friends." He chuckle, referring to my writing about the parties I had been. "What are you even gonna do other than that?"

"Nothing much, just these two, but..." I trail off.

"So you're coming." he say ending the conversation here.
We get up, he pays the bill and we head out.

"Just text me the address, and we'd be their." He give me his number and walk to his car.

"Okay." I agrees and get in my car and go home.

.....

I text Luke the address and head inside the shop. I was just here a
couple days after I beat the shit out of Zed inside the science building. So much happens in between this time.

We met Tessa's dad outside this shop. My non-expulsion meeting with the college board. Vacation to my dad's, Ken's cabin, fight with Tess and breakup after we come from that dread full vacation. Tessa almost got violated by Steph and Dan, fucking psychos.
