Chapter 3

Hardin's POV:

After putting her bags in her car, I head upstairs to her room. Before going straight to the room, I stand outsides of Landon's door for few seconds.

I want to pound my fist on his door and wake him up, if he is sleeping and curse his ass out, for whatever he said to Tessa, that she make this decision of time apart shit again.

But what's the point, she already made up her mind. She doesn't listen shit I say, always has been. And now she is going to her mother's house, that is not a very good idea. Not even fucking close to it.And headed to her room and open the door.

She is now dressed in different clothes. She is wearing that white dress that I love so fucking much on her, she wears this one more than any dresses she got. I admire her beauty for few seconds and moves towards her where she stands.

"Ready?" I ask. As much as I want to, love to, spend few more minutes, hours even with her, but I don't want to pressure her to do it. Not anymore.

"Yes" she take a deep breath. And slips her feets in her shoes. When she is done, she take her purse and put it on her shoulder and I take her hand in mine and we go downstairs.

When reach down, she stop and started to look around the house. Like she is remembering the moments, good ones hopefully, I said to myself.

"I want to tell Landon, Ken and Karen goodbye before I go. But I think they must be asleep. So would you tell them for me?" She smile, sweetly requesting me.

"Yeah, I'll" I smile back at her. And we headed to her car. As we stand beside her car, she puts her purse in the car, and I pull her arms and give her a last hug before she go. Her head rest against my chest, I say, "I love you; please remember that. And call me the second you get there."

"I will. Tell them bye for me, remember?" she says.

"I will. But get in the car, please. I can't draw this out and
pretend that I'm happy about it." She tighten her arms around my torso. "And when you'll come back, I'll want to drag
you back into that bedroom for all time." I try to lighten up the moment.

"I know you are-thank you." she says and brushing her cheek and goes farther against my chest.

"I love you, Tessa, so fucking much. Remember that,
okay?" I say into her hair. She can hear my voice breaking to cry.

"I love you, Hardin. Always."she said which warms my heart. And she break our embrace and press her palms against my chest and lean up to kiss me.

Feeling her soft lips on mine, its always feels good but now it's fucking better all of that time we did. l don't want to pull away from this, my mind and heart didn't want to approve it.

But finally she remove herself from mine and I groan. Then she kiss me on my cheek. And says
"I'll call you when I get there." she kiss me once more, just a small, quick goodbye kiss, and I run my hands over my hair. And steps away from her car.

"Be safe, Tess," I say as she climbs into the car and close the door. And then she pulls away her car from the driveway and gone. For now at least.

I stand here in the driveway for few minutes, after she is gone and her car is not seen in my view and then head back to upstairs.
