Too close

"Why don't we go somewhere more private" I said through clenched teeth, trying to get this job done quickly.

"Anywhere you like my darling" he proceeded to stand up, keeping his arm around my waist as we walked towards the door. But I had only made it a couple steps before a rush of dizziness took hold of me, I waited for it to pass only to be grasped by a stronger wave.

We ended up stumbling towards the door and towards the unsuspecting alley.

"Sorry, I must of had too much to drink, I'm a lightweight" I said as I attempted to excuse my ill-nature.

"That's okay darling" his voice was practically dripping in desperation.

We were close to the alleyway entrance now, and it was becoming harder and harder to stay up, the walls left and right of me where spinning and taunting me, and the ground looked ever so welcoming.

"I think I should sit down" as I tried to lower myself, the man, who's name I had forgot, spun me so my back was against the brick wall. My Fighter instincts demanded to be seen, but I pushed them down to prevent Elias's suspicion.

Becoming weaker by the second, and having realised my drink must of been spiked, could only pray that Elias got here in time.

Even though consciousness was slipping further from me, I could feel his hands roaming my body and his mouth near my neck. I cried out, the last amount of energy I could muster before darkness cradled me. In a dreamlike state, however, I felt those needy hands ripped off, and a loud gunshot, that felt so close but so far, then the last thing I remembered were strong hands gripping me, pulling me towards their body... Although I was plastered in darkness, I knew I was safe.

"Cal"

Someone was calling my name. But my eyes were so heavy and drawn shut by some Invisible glue.

"Calista!"

I was shook aggressively, and with all the strength I could muster, I forced my eyes open, glaring straight at Ellie.

"Morning bitch" she said, as she sat next me, actually on top of me- crushing my hand to be specifically.

"What time is it?" I replied.
"Is that all I get, I've come down here to nurse you back to health after your drunk fiasco, and all I get is a-"
I cut her off.
"Drunk?" I ask
"Yes. Drunk. Elias texted me and told me you had rather a rough night, and passed out."

Oh right. I suppose I couldn't blame him for lying, he couldn't exactly say, I was drugged whilst leading some creepy guy to an alleyway to be shot. But if I'm honest, she's more likely going to be shocked if I told her I started dance classes, then assisted a murder.

"Right yeah. And where is Elias?"
No doubt he's probably continuing the 'business' from last night.
"He's out. He said he had 'business' to attend to" she replied.

Typical. He really needs a better excuse then 'business' everyone knows when you're attending 'business' you really don't mean 'business'

We watched movies all day, ranging from wild child to the kingsman series. All whilst drooling over taron egerton. Never once seeing the return of Elias.

"Do you think he's okay?" I asked ellie.

"Who? Taron? Yeah I mean looking like that I'd say he's well off"

I huffed. "No you idiot, Elias, I haven't seen him since yesterday" she looked at me,
eyebrows raised.

"You're worried about him" she replied, her full attention now on me.

"No im not" I said, voice a pitch too high to be believable.

"You're worried about him, which means you totally like him" she was now staring at me intently, like a puppy waiting for it's toy.

I lunged, and pushed her off the sofa, in which she proceeded to lie dramatically on the floor- pretending to be dead. I kicked her once, and getting no reaction from her, I kicked her again. Nothing.

"Ellie get up you cow!"

Still nothing.

I crawled down off the sofa, and as I was leaning close to her face, she sat up and screamed right in my face. Seeming to forget I was there, we smacked heads and so what started in me winning ended with both of us rolling on the floor holding our heads.

"What the fuck Calista"

I started laughing.

"It's not funny, I think I've got concussion. You weren't suppose to be that close"

She then joined in my laughter which was mainly trying to laugh off our pain.

"I thought you were dead you bitch"

We were in hysterics now.

"Stop I'm going to pee" I said between wheezed laughing.

She then mocked my laugh, which threw us into a fit of giggles.

After our little performance, we took ourselves to bed around 1am and just talked for hours. About everything and anything. Boys. Life. Whether raspberry sorbet was better than mango sorbet. Those kind of things, And all the while, at the back of my brain, all I could think of was Elias, and where he was.

A/N- I know this chapter is a little boring, but I think we needed some ellie time ;) be prepared for oncoming stories, it's about to get juicyyyyy❤️❤️ would love to hear some feedback!!
