Aizawa POV

There was no time to waste. Principal Nezu had already issued an alert to all the pro heroes in that prefecture with a description of the villains that had attacked. And to look out for Midoriya.

I tried to get the students to go back home but none of them did. They insisted to be a part of the search. They had all split into groups except for Bakugou who had informed me that he was fine and vanished after Midoriya was taken away.

I turned a corner and I saw Bakugou lugging a torpid body. The boy glanced up and his green eyes twinkled as if to say that he was fine. He tried to wrestle out of Bakugou's clutches but ultimately gave in.

Oh wait, no. He had fallen limp.

Izuku POV

A candle loomed above me, the fire dangerously close to a seven year old. Then her face came into my line of vision. "Are you sure you're not playing a trick izu?" her voice sounded distant yet menacing. Her brown eyes faintly glowed purple.

I felt tears run down my face, my hands up trying to shield myself from the heat. "Mama," I cried. "it's hot."

"You know they say fear brings out their quirks. Come on Izuku. You don't have to hide from me." She brought the candle closer and closer.

"M-Mama. S-stop. I-I" She slapped me. My ears rung, a thin trickle of blood made its way down.

She glared," How many times have I told you. Don't. Stammer."

I whimpered.

The hot wax inched its way closer and finally fell on my skin burning a hole.

I shot up screaming. My head hurt. I looked around and saw I was in my old room.

I shivered. I was back in my mom's house. It looked like it was a little before dawn.

The last thing I remembered was Aizawa-san running toward me praying that I was alive.

I groaned and tried to get out of bed when I noticed the timid figure at the doorway. The light from the other room spilled in, blinding me. She walked to the bed and attempted to take my hand in hers but I swiftly receded from her touch.

She sighed, "You've been out for two days. The school said you had been captured by the league of villains" she stifled a sob. (what a dramatic bitch)

"Th-They also said that to protect the interest of the students they were opening a hostel within school. And you'll be staying there for the rest of the schoolyear."

I looked at my hands, not knowing where else to look or how to respond.

She continued," A lot of people came to visit and make sure you were okay." She hesitated. "Kacchan-"

I winced at the name.

"Well" she said carefully "he was here the whole of yesterday. In fact, I heard that he was the one who helped you out." she sounded impressed, maybe even admired that bastard.

"That's all fine." I cut her off "When do I have to go to the hostel?"

"Oh. Well you can shift by the 12pm. But I was wondering if.. maybe.." she stumbled for words.

"No. It's fine. I don't want to burden you. I'll leave today. Thank you for all your help." I said with a tone of finality.

She sighed again. "How about I make you some of your favourite Katsudon for breakfast?"
