Nala and Teddy sat down at a seat and grabbed some popcorn out of their backpack. Nala opened the popcorn and gobbled half the popcorn. Teddy grabbed the bag and ate the rest. Nala and Teddy watched the movie then went in their puppy car to drive home. But before they got in the car some random person walked up to them and said.
"Hey there! My names Saddle but you can call me Sad for short." Teddy pushed Nala in the car.
"Um, That's nice to know."
"Yeeeeeeeep! Hey, wanna have a ride in my puppy car? I mean you and your wife of course. Not trying to leave her out."
"Um, No I think we're good."
"Oh ok! I can have a ride in your car then! If that's ok with you." Teddy turned around and walked to the car. The dog grabbed his arm but he got the dog to let go. Teddy drove off as fast as he could so the dog couldn't take a picture of his license plate. When they got home Nala walked into the house and got some puppy chow. She walked upstairs and sat down on her bed. She felt something weird in her belly. She called Teddy and he came upstairs.
"Yes? Is everything ok?"
"I don't know. My belly feels kinda weird. If something is in it." Teddy sat on the bed beside her and rubbed her back. He looked at her belly and saw that it was bigger than before. He walked downstairs and picked up the phone to call the doctor.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Yes um this is Teddy my wife is not feeling good."
"Ok, we're on our way!" Teddy hung up the phone and went back upstairs. When he opened the door to their room Nala was squeezing the blanket. He sat beside her and handed out his hand so she could squeeze that instead. Was she having cramps? The doctors finally came and went upstairs to check what was going on. They saw how big Nala's belly was getting. They thought of one thing. She was having a baby. They told Teddy to go out of the room because they would think he wouldn't want to see them pushing and the baby come out. Teddy said his last goodbye and last good luck and walked out of the room. The nurse held on to Nala's hand and told her to hang on. The doctor put gloves on and told Nala to put a hospital outfit on. Nala got out of bed and put the outfit on. She lay back down and the doctor told her to take a deep breath and push. Then take another deep breath then push again. Nala took a DEEEEEP breath and pushed harder than ever. 3 hours later the baby finally popped out. The doctors checked the baby to make sure it was healthy. They put the baby on some bed thing and said the baby was as healthy as a horse. The doctor picked up the baby and cleaned it. When the baby was clean they needed to cut the thing. Finally, the baby was clean and had its thing cut off. The doctor looked at the baby one more time then handed HER to Nala and called Teddy in. Nala looked at her baby and smiled. She handed her baby to Teddy and he started to tear up. Teddy sat beside Nala and hugged her and their baby girl. Teddy looked at their baby's face and saw it kinda looked like a button. So he said.
"Honey, I think we should name her Button.'' (We call her Shanoom.) Because her face kinda looks like a button. So I think it's a great name for her."
"Yes, Button our little girl." Nala leaned her head on Teddy and they both thanked the doctors for helping them when they needed it. The doctors said goodbye and walked downstairs, got into their car, and drove off. Nala got up and changed her clothes and all three of them snuggled and fell asleep. Button opened her eyes and crawled out. She looked around and saw the world. (For the first time) Button jumped on the floor and made a loud THUMP! Nala jerked up and looked at her arms to make sure Button was still there. But all she saw was Teddy sleeping beside her. She looked around the room and saw Button crawling on the floor. She got up and kneeled beside her. She was already growing to be a big girl! And a "Smart" one. Button looked at Nala and then tried to crawl faster to getaway.
"Silly why are you crawling away from me?" Button looked behind her and saw Nala get up and walk toward her. Button knew what she had to do. Button pushed speed mode and crawled away like a beetle running from a cat. Nala looked at her child then ran after her. She finally caught up to Button and grabbed her by the legs and picked her up. Nala wide-eyed looked at her child then called Teddy to come over. Teddy sleepy-eyed walked over and saw Nala holding the child at the end of the stairs. At first, he thought Nala threw her down them. But when Nala turned around wide-eyed. He knew something happened. He walked downstairs and grabbed the child from Nala's arms.
"What's wrong?"
"The child...She crawled like a cheetah! I had to run to keep up!" Teddy looked at Nala confused. He put button-down gently and looked at Nala. He walked upstairs and said if she needed anything call him. Nala picked up Button and said ok. She walked to the kitchen to get some water for the baby. But when she looked at her arms Button was gone! She looked everywhere. She looked under the table, In the fridge, and even in the sink. She ran upstairs to get Teddy, But when she got up he was lying down with Button beside him. Oh how cute! Nala had to take a picture. She slowly and quietly walked into the room. Nala walked toward her dresser where her camera was. She picked up the camera and took 2 pictures. Nala walked to her dresser to put her camera away but when she turned around Button was sitting on top of her dresser. She watched Button crawl around then jump off. So weird! Nala put her camera on the dresser then picked up Button and walked over to the bed to put her on. Button looked at Nala and Nala looked at Button. Button suddenly bit Nala and jumped down. Nala squeezed her hand then chased after Button. Teddy got up and looked around. There was no one there. Nala started calling for Teddy to come down and help her find Button. He came running downstairs to find her. Then there was a knock on the door. Teddy stopped looking and walked over to the door. When he opened it there she was Button in a man's arms. Teddy looked at the man and suddenly remembered him. He was the man at the movies. and he was holding his daughter. Teddy tried to grab his daughter but the man wouldn't let him. The man HANDED his daughter and smiled. (what a creep ;-;) Teddy grabbed his daughter, Said thank you as fast as he could, and shut the door. But for some reason, the man didn't leave. He kept on standing there. Teddy handed Button to Nala and told her to go upstairs just in case. He opened the door and asked.
"Um...Sir could you please leave." The man looked at him and said.
"Oh, I'm sorry I was just looking at your door. It's gorgeous! Where did you get it! I would like to get one for myself. I've been loo-"
"SIR! PLEASE LEAVE!" The man looked at Teddy wide-eyed then said.
"Fine..." The man walked away without looking back and Teddy shut the door. He walked upstairs and told Nala and Button it was ok to come down. Nala came down and hugged Teddy. She and Teddy stood at their front door making sure the man didn't come back. When they saw that the man didn't come back they went upstairs to check on Button. Luckily Button was sitting on the bed playing with the blanket. Nala smiled then looked at Teddy. But when she looked at him. He kinda looked worried. Maybe he thought the man was going to come back. Or maybe we were happy and worried because that man was holding their child. Teddy walked over to the bed and sat down. He looked at Button as she played with the blanket. Nala walked over and sat down beside them both. She held Teddie's hand and looked at him. She was worried too. She didn't know how long he had Button. or what he did to her. He could have put a tracker on her. Nala got up and walked downstairs to make supper. Teddy picked up Button and started to tickle her little feet. Button started to giggle. Then she started to laugh. THEN she started at ROWR! Teddy laughed as he tickled her little feet. Their laughing got so loud Nala could hear them from downstairs. She put the stove on low and walked upstairs to see what was going on. When she got to the room they stopped laughing. She gave them a frown then walked back downstairs. She put the stove on high again and got the salt. But when she got back to the stove. Someone turned it off. She looked around but no one was there. She turned the stove back on. She turned around and saw a water bottle that was left out. Then she put it back in the fridge. But when she turned around again there was another. She looked around to make sure no one was trolling her then put that one in the fridge. Again when she turned around there was another water bottle sitting there waiting to be put in the fridge. She again put that water bottle in the fridge. But before another water bottle could appear. She turned around like a flash. There was Teddy and Button holding a water bottle. Those Trollers! Nala chased them upstairs to make sure they didn't bother her and walked downstairs to start cooking again. FINALLY, dinner was done. And she called them down to eat supper. Teddy and Button came running down. They sat down, Said their prayer, and dug in.
