The boy

The two young heroes were walking down the alleyway. According to the map sent by the investigation team, the villain should be there anytime now. Both sides agreed to clear things up with some talk and not cause any unnecessary chaos for the citizen. The villain who is long-ass murderer agreed to give in if his 'conditions' were put into consideration.

But those 'conditions' are too good to be true, there is no way someone the police department has been trying to reach for months would easily give up for a good box of pizza. Aizawa knew something wasn't right and hoped his 'partner' think the same. But as much as he knew, the smile-hero didn't look so serious, merely grinning proudly at the pizza she's holding-he hope that at least she's keeping her guards up.

A knife suddenly appears from behind them. Like she knew it was coming, Emi bent over, and so it flew past them. Aizawa's eyes widen, he didn't even notice it coming. Was it pure luck?

"Sheesh," Emi muttered, "that was close." Emi opened the pizza box and took a slice. Aizawa realized that there is just half of it in the box, the space left for the other half was filled with pictures of their possible suspect and a note saying, 'Your fly's down'

Aizawa rolled his eyes as Emi giggled. She sat on the ground, enjoying the pizza. "I thought it's for the villain," Aizawa muttered. "Nah he's bluffing, it's for us after we're done with it."

"But we're not done yet," Aizawa uttered bored, staring at her with his half-lidded eyes. "We are," Emi replied proudly.

Just a few seconds later Aizawa was surprised to see a man suddenly appear just a few feet from them, hanging upside down from a trap Emi set earlier that day.

So she wasn't late for the coffee, Aizawa thought.

"See?" Emi uttered, standing up, "I call this The Emi Ultra Trap-Trap Mania," she announced, pointing at her masterpiece with an open palm. Aizawa rolled his eyes as he uttered, "Great job."

The villain throws multiple blades at her, which she easily countered with the metal part of her gloves, covering her wrist. Emi sighed, glaring at him, "Can you quit it already? Know your position, Villy."

But he didn't quit. The villain kept on throwing knives at the two heroes which they easily countered. It was getting boring, Emi thought she should knock him unconscious but Aizawa stopped her from doing so saying it'll only slow things down since they'll have to wait for him to gain back his consciousness before doing further investigations, which is troublesome.

And she agreed, he got a point. She planned on visiting Tooru later that night, wouldn't be fun to spend too much hours waiting. And so they kept on avoiding blades, waiting for when it's time for the villain to finally realize that he's not getting anywhere with it.

But after what felt like hours, Emi realized something. She realized how some blades missed them, too much that she somehow thought that he'd been doing it on purpose, only she couldn't tell why. And before she even knows it, a large mass of blades comes from behind them like lightning. Her eyes widen, the only thing audible was the sound of the villain chuckling and the thought of him hanging upside down like a bat making her soul laugh to hell, but she shook her thought, it's time to be serious.

"Eraser behind you!" Emi yelled, countering as much blades as she could. Aizawa did the same. "What on earth is going on?" he uttered, annoyed.

All of a sudden, every blade fell to the ground, before reaching the heroes. "I see you've reached your limit," the smile-hero uttered, trying to catch her breath herself. The villain looks exhausted himself, his head was down to the ground (if that's even possible since he's already upside down).

"Alright you got me, good game, heroes," the villain uttered in defeat.

The smile hero quickly reached her hand out as she heard a slight voice coming without turning her eyes away from the maroon-haired villain. Emi grabbed the single blade with her gloved palm from stabbing Aizawa's back. She turned a sharp glare at the villain, "I said quit it."

The villain's eyes grew wider, he can't believe that he's actually defeated by some newbies. Emi kicked him in the face, enough to knock him out. "I don't care about waiting anymore, he deserves that," she said to Aizawa.

She pulled the blade with two fingers from sticking on her palm casually and threw it to the ground. Aizawa saw a deep shade of red slowly growing out of her orange-colored glove. "Thank you," he uttered.

"Please don't take my dad," the two heroes heard a voice somewhere from the dark side of the alley. A lavender-haired boy, probably six or seven years old slowly walks towards the unconscious villain, grabbing the end of his shirt.

Emi clenched her injured palm to a fist to stop the bleeding and moved towards the boy, crouching in front of him. "Sorry we can't do that-" she blanked out. She couldn't tell if it was poison from the blade or something else, before she even knew it, the seafoam-haired hero can't control her body and everything starts to look foggy.

Aizawa noticed the situation as walked a step forward, activating his quirk just in case something bad is happening. Yet he was right-it was pure luck though, he wasn't planning for it. As the raven-haired hero activated his quirk, Emi gained herself back. The boy looked up to Aizawa, fear sparking from his purple eyes. "I-sorry, I didn't mean to," the boy stuttered, taking a step back.

"Eraser, deactivate your quirk, you're scaring him!" Emi uttered, giving Aizawa a sight of her annoyance. "It's okay, what I was going to say is that we need to arrest your dad now because he did bad things," Emi uttered somehow soothingly.

Aizawa glared at her back and sighed, thinking why on earth would she take responsibility for some random boy, it could've been some trap set by the villain. "My name is Emi, do you want me to know your name?" she uttered, now sitting on the ground. The boy seemed scared, staring at her held out hand, wondering if he should take it. "Hitoshi," he muttered, loud enough for Emi to hear. Emi turned a smile at her, "Nice to meet you, Hitoshi."

"You will live with me for some time, does that sound good to you?" Emi asked, turning a soft smile at the boy who soon faintly nodded.

Emi pointed at Aizawa standing behind her, "He's Eraserhead, don't mind him he's a little grumpy." Shinso stared at Aizawa for a moment then giggled for no reason at all. The man squinted his eyes at him then sighed.
