I felt Dimitri's eyes on me. "What is it" I looked up.

"Nothing."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure" he looked back at the book.

"Yeah right" I rolled my eyes.

Looking at the clock it was almost 6:30.

"It's almost 7" he said still looking at the book, "almost time for dinner."

"It appears so," I trace my hand along the pages of the book, looking through all I've drawn, "painting these is what I need."

"You are gonna paint those?" Dimitri chuckled.

"Of course I am" I slammed the book down on my lap, "I could never tire of frogs having tea!"

"Strange, that's what you are," closing the book and grabbed his face, dragging his hand along it.

Audibly scoffing.

I'm the weird one.

I'm the strange one, yet he's the whore.

Typical man.

"That is quite rude," my voice void of emotion, "well let me see what you can draw," throwing him the sketch book.

"Alright" he smiled handing me the book he was reading, "greek mythology" he read the cover, "I didn't think you'd be into things like that," Dimitri smirked.

"Oh yeah."

I'm fucked.

He's gonna tell father and then they'll find out i don't believe in god.

Shit shit shit shit.

My mind raced.

Taking in a long, nice, deep breath, calming myself

In much more simpler terms. I do not believe in just one god.

"Still you are a weird one" he smiled.

Taking great offense to that.

Jeez this man is a gem isn't he.

"Now darling can you look at the book turned that way" he pointed at the direction he wanted me to look.

He can't call me that, I refuse to let him.

"Don't, call my darling," I commanded, Dimitri seemed to ignore it.

Moving my head towards the window, the way he asked me to look, and looked down

Dimitri got up. "Not quite."

What?

He tilted my head up a little. "There."

Don't touch me.

"That's a good girl" he walked back to the chair.

I blushed a little.

Immediately realizing it, chastising myself for it.

Whore.

Over that objectification of a name? Really?!

"Don't call me pet names Dimitri."

Opening the book and started reading.

I had read this book countless amount of times, it never bore me.

The stories were always intriguing to me.

I'd look over to Dimitri once in a while to see him looking up at me and back at the sketch book.

It made me smile to see him look at me to intently.

"Your side profile is gorgeous."

I smiled. "Thank you."

Flipping through to look at the pictures. I moved a piece of my hair back.

I heard Dimitri stop drawing.

"Are you done?"

"Yes, I am" his chair creaked as he got up, foot steps echoing in the room slightly.

He brought out his hand with the sketch book to show me what he's done.

It was of my side profile, but not quite, he drew me sitting on a mushroom, with fairy wings and my ears were pointy.

"It's gorgeous" I smiled. "Although I thought you were going to draw me more like a human."

Whatever he's doing, it's working.

This is how you got to a lady's heart.

"Well you just inspire me Y/n." He placed his hand on my chin, lifting up my face to him.

Good choice in words. I'll give him that.

Though...I won't fall for it that easily.

"Dimitri, Y/n it's time for din...er," Thalia walked in, "I-im sorry I should've knocked."

"It's alright Thalia we weren't doing anything" I smiled.

She smiled, nodding.

I stood up.

Dimitri took my hand to help me walk, he wrapped my arm around his.

We walked out in unison. "Do you think you'll be able to walk down the stairs?" He whispered in my ear.

"I'm not sure." He nodded.

We made it to the stairs and he took a step, he got in front of me and held my hands.

"Just take a few steps" he leaned in.

I nodded.

Stepping down, the sound of the heel click echoed, my ankle felt fine. I took another step. It also felt fine.

Dimitri continued to walk me down the stairs. Once we made it to the bottom he picked me up and spun me around.

He laughed, I laughed with him.

His voice was just so nice?

Dimitri then placed me down carefully. "You have a nice laugh."

He smiled back at me. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

We were then escorted to our seats in the dining room.

I sat where I was this morning and Dimitri, in front of me still.
