Dimitri and I were now looking for my father.

We checked his study, he wasn't there.

The library, still he wasn't there.

His bed room, not there either.

The garden, nope.

We bumped into my mother. "Oh careful darling," she caressed my cheek, "what are you two looking for?" She questioned.

"Have you seen father?" I asked.

"He went out dear" she smiled.

"Oh" I stood there awkwardly.
Mother went about as usual.

Turning to Dimitri, "when you go back home ask you father," I sternly told him.

"Yes ma'am" he said.

I walked to my room.

My face was still hot from before.

That's like the second time we kissed. I don't know what I feel for Dimitri.

Does he actually love me?

Do I love him?

What about my sister?

I don't want to hurt her, she means so much to me.

Dimitri's POV

I cant believe I told Y/n all of that.

I truly do love her.

Does she love me?

Have I messed everything up?

If only I wasn't adopted, if only I had been shot that day.

She seems to be conflicted about all of this, especially with her sister.

I knew Rose liked me more than a friend but I didn't feel the same for her.

Watching Y/n as she walked she seemed tensed and lost in her thoughts.

We walked past her room.

I won't say anything I'll let her continue with her thoughts.

My eyes outlined her silhouette.

She is absolutely gorgeous.

The way her dress lays on her body hugging her it was like staring at a painting.

She is so gorgeous.

"Fuck," I heard her say, "we passed my room."

She turned to me a little annoyed as if I should be the one paying attention.

I smiled awkwardly, pleading to her with my eyes.

She took my hand angrily and pulled me along. Her hands are sweating.

Once again we passed her room.

Tugging on her arm, "we passed your room again love."

"I know that!" She huffed.

Swinging the both of us around.

We stopped in front if her room.

I opened the door for her.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome" I smiled.

Y/n took us in. I closed and locked the door.

I watched as Y/n walked out her window.

Panicked. I ran to her.

It seemed like she had jumped out.

"Y/n!" I looked.

"Shut up!" She whisper yelled and covered my mouth.

"Thank god!" I let out a sigh of relief, "I thought you jumped out the window," pulling her into my arms.

Your POV

Dimitri pulled me into a tight embrace.

His cologne violated my senses.

Drowning me in a fragrance I truly love.

Ew no, it's just cologne.

It's artificial. It shouldn't start anything in me like that.

His heartbeat pounded so loudly. Pounding like a rhythm on the drums.

"I would never," I wrapped my arms around him, "especially since you are my fiancé." I buried my face into his chest, "I have a purpose now."

His affection towards me was more than I've ever experienced on my own.

It's warm.

It's gentle.

It's kind.

Dimitri tensed up, his body heat started to rise, his heart beat sped up even more than it already had been.

He squeezed me tighter, burying his face into my hair.

Everything around us froze.

My mind filled with a future with him.

An amazing, love filled future.

I think...

...possibly.

I love him.
