As we arrived the sun was just starting to set and we needed to find a cheap place to stay for the night. Jeramiah and I started walking around the streets when we stumbled across a little tea house that doubled as a motel. I peered through the windows to find many little tables surrounded by people. We walked inside, welcomed by the sweet smell of herbal teas and little fairy cakes. Jeramiah dragged me over to the counter and asked for two rooms, the receptionist raised an eyebrow and gave us our keys. I paid and walked to my room.
My room was small with a double bed in the centre, the walls were panelled mahogany and the bedspread was an emerald green. There was a soft velvety rug by the bed. I slipped my shoes off and flopped into bed, the flight was excessively long.
Before I knew it, the sun had risen again. Had I really fallen asleep? I slowly got out of bed and decided to shower, I stunk, but the shower was relaxing and woke me up. I got changed into a simple dress and walked into the teashop. I found Jeramiah waiting for me at a corner booth with two cups of tea. I inhaled the sweet aroma of my cinnamon tea and sighed deeply, it smelt just like how grandma made it.
