The room burst with a neon light as the demon's blood slowly seeped onto the floor, I hurried over to Jeramiah and strangled him with a hug. I checked my watch, we needed to get to the airport as fast as wee could. We ran through the door and down the street, the airport came into view as I rechecked the time. The plane left in five minutes! I ran faster than I had ever ran before, we made it into the airport with two more minutes to spare. We rushed through security and boarded the plane. We were going to make it.
The plane ride was long and boring. I was trying to read in silence when Jeramiah woke up from his sleep. I sighed and looked out the window. The view was nice, but I missed home.
