The morning light filtered in through the curtains, waking me from my peaceful slumber. I jumped out of bed and ran to the dining area of the teashop. I decided to order a massive meal in celebration of finding the jewel. I texted Jeramiah to come and eat with me, and he did. We ate in a comfortable silence until the entire table was clean of any food. "I'm going to book us tickets for the soonest flight home," I grinned and pulled out my phone to check the airport website, humming with excitement I quickly booked the tickets for tomorrow morning. That should give us enough time to clean up and pack. We were going home.
The rest of the day flew by us as we packed up our rooms and prepared for the early morning ahead of us. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing, this was going to be a great story to tell future generations.
