Chapter 7

Irene's POV

"What are you doing here Unnie?" I heard Lisa asked then sit straight when she saw me seating beside her. 

"I'm just walking when I saw you here so I decided to offer company." I said honestly. I feel like she don't want to have any company right now so I should go. " Ohh. sorry I thought you might want someone to talk to"

I slowly stand up and was about to leave when she hold my hand. I am not expecting that so I was a bit shocked and I saw Lisa giving that look too so I guess her flexes act faster than her brain. Then a few seconds later she snapped. 

"Uhm.. I- Ahm..No Unnie....s-tay." She pleaded while brushing her nape so I take a seat again and look at her.

"If you want to talk about something you can have my attention." She just look at me and I think she's starting to question my sudden action towards her.

"my members told me that I'm a really good listener and I guess it can help you too if what they are saying was true" I am starting to feel like she don't want to talk about it to people she mearly talk to that's why I want to make her feel that her feelings is safe with me.

but after a few more encouragement she did not even utter a single word. I have no other choice but to keep my mouth shut and stay behind the Irene Bae aura that I used to have with the people that I am not familiar with.

Maybe Lisa realized that my mood changed that's why she finally say a word.

"sorry Unnie..I just don't want to give burden to other people." She said not looking at me.

" Well I think we both have same Character. I can totally relate to that." After saying that word she finally look at my direction.

"Uhm.. About that night unnie.. I want to say sorry for acting that way" She said while her head is looking far from my direction.

"I heard about the rumor exploding that night so I understand, you don't have  to say sorry about that." I told her to lessen her worry.

"I heard about the reason why they want you to have a vacation too and It's a bit too much I guess." She said so I kinda look at her and question her statement.

"I- I mean you know.. korea should be more open with both sides and hearing each side's story.. We are humans too you know.. and.. and I feel like you are not that kind of person they are talking about with that article." She said genuinely.

"you think so?" I asked and look at her. She just stare at me for a brief moment before she nod and then drink her beer again and notice that I am still looking at her.

"you want some? I can go back to the cabin to get you one" She offered. 

"I prefer this one" I said and took the can of beer in her hand and drink it.

She was shocked with my action so I look at her with a questionable look

"I did not expect that" She said and scratch her nape.

"you should be more comfortable towards me Lisa, I don't bite." I laugh and she did too.

"but I do" she said and laugh again, I was taken aback with her respond.

She started laughing awkwardly maybe sensed my sudden action.

"Uhm..sorry" She said.

"No no! I did not just expect that either that's why" I said 

"I guess we do things that we both did not expect doing for each other" she said and chuckle a little and look at me again. After realizing that we are staring at each other for a while i was going to broke the eye contact when she suddenly look away.
