Problems

Yoongi doesn't move when Taehyung speaks, he doesn't even seem surprised, which causes Taehyung's expression to darken even further, as impossible as that is to for you to believe.
"We have a problem?", Yoongi repeats, eyes closed and arms spread on the back of the sofa he's resting on. "What kind?"
Taehyung huffs, obviously annoyed with the older's attitude, but before he can say anything, Namjoon appears behind him, tall and broad. He towers Taehyung easily, who immediately steps away from the door and leans against the wall next to it, arms crossed.

The leader throws you a short glance. It's not hostile, but definitely serious. "Yoongi", he says, and at his voice, Yoongi finally opens his eyes and turns his head.
"What is it?", he asks. There's still no evidence of urgency in his voice, but at least he seems interested. Anxiously, you wait for what Namjoon has to say.
"Jimin is gone."

The air in the room seems to freeze for a moment, stopping time with it. A shiver runs down your spine.
Yoongi's eyes glow a dangerous red, but he doesn't move a muscle. The only sign of him being alive is a quick twitch in the corners of his mouth. A few moments later, he finally moves and the redness vanishes from his eyes, leaving behind only a spark.
The demon sits up and rests his elbows on his knees, rubbing the palms of his hands together in deep thought. "I expected that much", he says. His voice is cold, colder than you've ever witnessed, and it makes you restless. "The only question is where he went. Do we have any traces?"
Namjoon shakes his head, but it's Taehyung who replies. "None", he says. "It's as if he vanished from the castle by teleportation."
This time, it's Yoongi who shakes his head. It's a tiny movement, as if he's talking to himself entirely. "Jimin hates teleportation, and he is not good at it", he answers. "Unlikely, especially considering the contract we signed. It's impossible for us to simply leave."
Namjoon crosses his arms in front of his chest. "That leaves us with only one option", he says. Yoongi nods in agreement.
"Jimin had help."

"But by who?", you interject. "Who would-"
"I don't know", Yoongi says and it sounds sharp. "But we will find out eventually. Just... Could you give me a moment?"
Namjoon and Taehyung turn around almost immediately, but your muscles won't move.
Yoongi glances at you, attempting a smile, but it fails miserably. "You too, Y/N. Please."

Quietly, you get up and walk out the room. You can't help but worry about him. "He must feel betrayed", you mumble to yourself as the doors close behind you. Namjoon and Taehyung are still in the entrance hall, the latter leaning against one of the pillars supporting the roof. They greet you with dark glances. You approach them, but before you can even reach their side, a bang comes from the room you just left.

Monstrous hissing and screaming leaks through the door, accompanied by sounds that can only stem from Yoongi ripping the entire room to shreds. You flinch as something crashes against the door; Namjoon and Taehyung however seem unimpressed by Yoongi's fit.
For a few minutes, the sounds continue. With your unhuman hearing, you can clearly hear wood splintering, stone cracking and fabric ripping as Yoongi destroys the interior of the living room. Something in you wants to go in and comfort him, but you know that if you enter now, you risk being killed.
Right when you have this thought, the raging dies down and eerie silence engulfs the castle once again.
You look at Namjoon, not trusting the quiet behind the door. "Is it over?"
The demon glances down at you and nods slowly.
"Can I enter?"
He repeats the movement.

Slowly pushing the door open, you expect to see a demolished room with a disheveled Yoongi in the middle. But you're wrong. The room is as clean as before with no sign of destruction anywhere, and Yoongi is calmly sitting on one of the impeccable sofas with a glass of whiskey in his slim fingers.
You stare at him, and he returns your glance. When you've regained your self-control, you slowly enter the room and since Yoongi doesn't oppose, you stiffly sit on one of the armchairs.
"Are you okay?", you ask, the only thing that comes to mind.
Yoongi looks you directly in the eye, and his red pupils are swirling with emotion. "I am", he answers your question huskily. "Are you?"

"Why should I not be?", you frown, his words distracting you from the fact that you don't believe that he is truly alright. Yoongi lets out a short chuckle that sounds anything but amused, swirling his whiskey in the crystal glass.
"You've just witnessed your first true demonic rage", he says, trying to make his voice sound soft, but it's strained. "I would understand if you were upset."
You shake your head. "Don't worry about me", you say softly. "I'm more worried about you. You don't look too good."
Yoongi keeps quiet at your words, taking a slow sip of his whiskey. "Are you worried about him?", you ask, and his eyes darken. "No", he answers, averting his glance. It's at least a bit of a lie and you know it, but you don't press further. Namjoon, Jin and Taehyung enter the room, but Yoongi ignores them. They sit down quietly, only Jin wanders over to the assortment of alcohol and pours everyone, including you, a glass.
"I am worried about us."

His words come as a surprise. You expected Yoongi to be worried for Jimin's safety, upset because he left, wondering where he is. But for him to be worried for the Seven Sins' safety, something must truly be  off.
"For us", Taehung echoes tonelessly.
Yoongi stares down at the amber-coloured drink in his hand. "Jimin can take care of himself", he starts to answer everyone's unspoken question, but his words trail off as if he's tired.
Jin appears behind you and forces a glass of vodka into your stiff hands after he's done the same to Namjoon and Taehyung. "In short", he takes over, which causes Yoongi's shoulders to relax a little, "if Jimin truly joined forces with someone else, these forces won't be on our side."
One of his large hands come to a heavy rest on your shoulder, making you flinch. Some of the vodka spills and runs down the side of the glass, but the more time passes, the more Jin's hand calms you down.

"Yoongi thinks Jimin is working against us. And so do I."
