Chapter 1 || The Road

"Bakit ngayon pa umulan?" sabi ko while looking outside the mall. I checked my bag to get my umbrella pero nakalimutan ko pala sa bahay, di gaanong malakas ang ulan so tumakbo nalang ako.

I didn't look at the road carefully before crossing so I almost get into the accident, natapilok pa ako. " Miss, are you okay?" The guy asked after he get out of the car, "Yes I'm okay" I said as I try to stand up but I fell again so he help me.

Since malapit lang kami sa bus stop, pinaupo nya muna ako doon, "I'll be back" sabi nya. Pinark nya muna sa tabi ang kanyang sasakyan at kinuha ang kanyang payong bago sya umalis.

Minutes passed, he already came back holding a paper bag. "Mukhang nasprain ka" sabi nya habang iniabot sa aking ang dala nyang ice pack.

Habang dinadampi ko ang ice pack sa aking paa, I checked the time, "I'm already late, I need to go"

"I can take you a ride"

"No thanks, magtataxi nalang ako"

I was about to stand up pero inalalayan nya naman ako agad, "Miss baka nakakalimutan mo may sprain ka? Wag ka nang makulit, ihahatid nalang kita" he said, pero may dumating na taxi kaya pinara ko naman agad, "It's okay, sasakay nalang ako sa taxi" I said, inalalayan nya naman ako pasakay sa taxi. "By the way thank you for helping me" I said bago ko isara ang pintuan ng taxi.

I was about to get in my car nang may nakita akong notebook sa upuan ng bus stop. Since yung babae na yun ang huling nakaupo doon chineck ko yung notebook, "Y/N? Oh so that's her name" I said as I read her name at her notebook. I keep her notebook since I know we'll meet again.

Everytime na aalis ako, dinadala ko notebook nya dahil hanggang ngayon umaasa pa rin ako na magkikita kami, pero linggo na ang nakalipas we still haven't met.

"Hey Y/N are you done?" My friend, DK asked from the outside , "Not yet!" I shouted so he can hear me, "Faster, we're going to be late at the flight"

DK was my friend since highschool and mahilig kaming magtravel, and dahil graduated na kami nakakapag travel na rin kami sa ibang bansa. Right now, we're going to L.A since doon namin gusto pumunta since dati.

After ko mag prepared ay agad kong nilock yung bahay ko and sumakay na kami sa taxi. Nasa kalagitnaan na kami byahe nung chineck ko yung bag ko. "Wait nakalimutan ko yung notebook ko"

"Baka naman nasa maleta mo"

"Puro damit at hygienes ko lang yun—"

"Notebook lang yun di naman rin naman tayo magtatagal sa L.A" sabi nya kaya nanahimik nalang ako.

Maaga rin kaming nakarating sa airport dahil walang traffic so while we're waiting, nagpahinga muna ako saglit para mapagmasdan ko yung view mamaya.

"Y/N gising na" sabi ni DK habang inaaalog ako para magising ako. While I'm looking at my surroundings, someone caught my attention. "ay/N, are you okay?" he asked as he looked at the direction that I'm looking at.

"Woah he's so handsome... Do you like him?" he asked as he smirks, "What? N-no" "Then why are you blushing?" "Am I?" I asked as I took my mirror para icheck ang mukha ko then he suddenly laugh, "Y/N, you don't need to lie to me, it's obvious that you like him" "Yah stop it, I don't like him, okay? He's the one who help me last week" I said pero ayaw nya pa rin maniwala sa akin so I just shut my mouth.

"Hey, Y/N? What a coincidence" He said as he smiled at me, "Oh hey... Wait how did you know my name?" I asked and he took something to his bag, "You forgot this at the bus stop" he said as he handed me my notebook, "Oh, Thank you! I thought I forgot this at my house" I said as I put it in my bag, "Wait, where's DK?" I said to myself as I look around, "Y/N!" DK shouted and wave so I can see him easily, "I have to go, thank you for bringing back my notebook and nice to meet you" I smiled as I go.
