As the ritual was taking place, Esther couldn't help but smile as she thought that finally she'll rid the world of vampires. She was glad that the doppleganger was foolish enough to help her not knowing that when her children died so will the vampires that were turned from their blood. She calls it the bloodline effect.

The effect of the spell was taking a toll on Angelina as it was draining her life force. This caused the original brothers to get scared when they saw their mate vomit out blood on the floor.

"Mother,  please stop this," said Niklaus with tears in his eyes.

"Why *sob*  must you *sob*  kill an innocent girl *sob* because of our wrongs," said a crying Kol who held onto his older brother.

Seeing her son's cry broke her heart but no matter what her resolve won't waver.

"My sons as much as it hurt my heart to cause my children pain, no amount of tears will ever change my mind." said Esther.

She then squeezed Angelina's hands to strengthen the spell which caused the girl to vomit out more blood.

"This girl has the power to undo the evil I created which caused the death of all those innocent people. The only reason she's alive now is because of me," screamed Esther.

"I was there when she was born and I knew she was your mate but I didn't think she'd be mated to all of you and with the help of the witches, we brought her back to life."

In the shadows were the Sinclair family. "So you saved my daughter only to kill her?" asked Jessica who walked out of the shadows with her family.

"My daughter suffered all her life because she was different. She wasn't human and even though she came from a witch's bloodline, she was still different," continued Jessica.

"My sister was terrified of the world for the whole sixteen years of her life, she was terrified of people. She spent fourteen years being home schooled isolated from society because she was seen as an outcast. She was stoned every time she stepped out of the house and ridiculed. Last year was the first time she actually stepped out of the house and it was because the president of her university is a warlock who understands what she's going through and gave her a scholarship to the University," shouted Zach.

While Zach was talking Elijah silently directed Mr and Mrs Sinclair to the direction of the Bennett witches.

"Don't stand there and act so righteous when you were the one who caused all these mess. The people who were killed by your children died because of you," said Emilia.

"I might not be a supernatural but I know everyone will die at some point in time but what you did by turning them immortal tipped off the balance of nature."

"All those people died because you couldn't accept that fact. I mean I don't know why you did this but this is the consequence to your actions."

Even after saying this Esther's resolve didn't change. She continued until she felt the connection between her and the Bennett witches.

"No sisters don't abandon me," she cried out however, she kept her control on the poor banshee who vomited more blood as some ran down her nose.

Everyone tried to stop them but nothing worked. Suddenly an idea came to Emilia's mind and so without hesitation, she startedto sing.
