"Come on... where are they..." (Y/N) muttered as she looked for fresh peaches in the produce section.

She was currently in town, doing her weekly grocery shopping.

"Oh, hey Angel!"

(Y/N) knew exactly who was calling her name. She quickly whipped her head around to find none other than Tanjiro Kamado.

"Hi baby." She smiled and walked over to him, giving him a small peck on the lips.

He kissed back and smiled, happy to run into his favourite person.

"I'm glad I ran into you. I'm looking for peaches to make a peach cobbler for Nezuko. She does like cobbler, right?" (Y/N) wondered, worried that she'd have to find a different recipe.

"She likes anything sweet! She's not allergic to anything either so I think you're good." Tanjiro reassured her.

(Y/N) let out a sigh of relief.

"Whew, that's good. Oh, then what are you here for?" She looked up.

"Actually, I was just looking for some new stationery. All the pencils in my pencil case disappeared somehow." Tanjiro shrugged, and (Y/N) felt his pain.

"I see. I'll help you look for some new pencils if you help me find these peaches." She made a deal, similar to the one she made in the last chapter.

"Deal." Tanjiro shook her hand to seal the agreement.

Since they were already in the produce sections, they just decided to look for (Y/N) items first.

"Oh, yeah, I need to buy a new spatula as well. Mine has a rip down the middle." She commented as they searched.

"Alright. Hey, why didn't you just ask one of the store clerks for help?"

(Y/N) stopped and thought about why she didn't think of that.

"Uhh..." She felt really stupid.

"It's alright, everyone makes mistakes. Hey, there's a worker over there." Tanjiro pointed to a girl about the same age as them putting lettuce in one of the sections.

"Excuse me, do you sell peaches here?" Tanjiro asked the girl.

"Yes, we do. They're in the back, to your left." She said, smiling.

"Oh, I didn't check back there yet..." (Y/N) muttered, embarrassed at her ignorance.

"Well, let's go get some now then!" Tanjiro took her hand and they went over to pick out the best-looking peaches.

SHORT TIME SKIP

Now that they had (Y/N) spatula and peaches, it was time to help Tanjiro find his pencils.

"Wow, there's so many cute ones!!!!" (Y/N) squealed looking at some of the SanRio stationery.

"Which ones should I get?" Tanjiro said, standing in front of the basic pencils and erasers.

"You should get some decorative ones. Here, look at these." (Y/N) suggested, handing her boyfriend a pack of pencils, made of sustainable materials. They were a nice pale green colour with cute little plant people all over the sides.

"Ooh, they are pretty cute! I'll get them!" He said, admiring the writing utensils.

(Y/N) giggled at his cuteness.

"Is there anything else you need or is that all you came to get?" She asked.

"Well... now that I think about it I did need some new erasers." He thought aloud.

"Alright, you should get these ones then. I use them all the time for my artwork, they're high quality." She made yet another suggestion.

"Wow, you really know your stuff, huh? I wouldn't expect any less of you, Angel!"

(Y/N)'s heart couldn't take it. Tanjiro always knew which heart strings to pull.

After Tanjiro checked out, they headed to a park to sit down and chat. (After grabbing some sandwiches of course)

"It's such a lovely day." (Y/N) observed.

Tanjiro stared at her, with fondness in his eyes.

"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you look?" He said without hesitation.

This made (Y/N) nearly faint.

"Well, you have." She joked and smiled at him.

He laughed as well and then took in a deep breath of fresh air.

"Y'know, I'm getting pretty sleepy..." (Y/N) mumbled.
She leaned on Tanjiro's shoulder and her eyes fluttered shut.
"Keep... an eye... on our things...." Were her final words before she drifted to dreamland.

"G-got it." Tanjiro replied, blushing in shock.
After all, this is his first time having a girl fall asleep on him. He didn't know what he was supposed to do.

He ended up putting his arm around her shoulder protectively. He also thought she looked adorable while sleeping.

Her calm state made him want to doze off as well, but she had left him with the important task of protecting their things.
Instead he pulled out his phone for something to do and opened up his book app to read his mystery novel.

Every so often he would glance at (Y/N) sleeping face, or kiss her forehead. Sometimes she would mutter something, but he couldn't really tell what she was saying.

"I hope you're having good dreams, Angel." Tanjiro said.

TIME SKIP

Eventually the sun was starting to set. Tanjiro would have to wake (Y/N), but he really didn't want to.

"Angel... you have to wake up." He said and brushed his hand through her hair.

She groaned and shifted a little.

"Come on... we need to get home. We've been here for two hours already."

This made (Y/N) wake up.

"Two hours!? What time is it??" She checked her phone, relieved to see that it was only about 4:00 pm.

"Ah geez, sorry I kept you waiting for two hours." She apologized with a closed-eye smile.

"I didn't mind. You have a really cute sleeping face." Tanjiro complemented, making (Y/N) let out a small laugh

"What did you do while I drifted off?" She said as she fiddled with her purse strings.

"Well, I read a book on my phone for a bit, but then it died. So then I looked at the stuff we bought for entertainment."

"Aw, well I guess we better head back, huh?" (Y/N) got up and dusted off her behind.

"Good idea." Tanjiro agreed.

They held hands as they walked home together.

"By the way Tanji, you're really comfy to nap on." (Y/N) commented as their linked hands swung back and forth.

"I'm glad you think so." Tanjiro chuckled at the silly complement.

Finally they got to where they had to split up.

"Looks like we'll have to part ways here." Tanjiro spoke with a hint of sadness.

"Yeah. Good night, babe." (Y/N) whispered and gave him a kiss.

He kissed back and after giving her one last kiss on the hand.

"Sleep well, my Angel." Tanjiro smiled and hugged his beloved.

They waved goodbye as they drifted out of sight from each other.
They both had good dreams that night.
