Ever since Tanjiro defended their relationship on that wonderful day, (Y/N) hadn't been able to stop thinking about that side of him... although, he did crumble apart when he realized what he did.  (Y/N) couldn't help but wonder if he'd ever do something like that again. Maybe something more...

"No! Get your head out of the gutter (Y/N)!" She yelled out loud. Luckily she was just at her house, home alone.

She pulled out her phone and texted her favourite person.

Y/N: Hi Tanji!

She didn't have to wait long before she saw Tanjiro typing back.

Tanjiro: Hi Angel! What's up?

Y/N: I'm bored. I miss you already

Tanjiro: Aw, I miss you too. Wanna go to the beach? :)

Y/N: yes pls!

Yet another date to their favourite beach. Somehow it hasn't gotten old yet. Every time they went it was always a new experience. (Y/N) put on some comfortable clothing and headed out, making sure to bring something from the fridge.

Tanjiro had arrived after her, and as soon as she saw him in the distance she sprinted over to him and jumped into his arms.

"I guess you missed me a lot, huh?" Tanjiro laughed.

"Yeah, I did. I brought sandwiches." (Y/N) shoved the bag she brought into the redhead's hands.

"Thanks (Y/N)! I was getting pretty hungry." He said and finished the sentence with a kiss on the forehead.

(Y/N) giggled and grasped Tanjiro's hand. The two strolled along the shore while eating the sandwiches. This time they weren't going to stay till nighttime because they arrived earlier in the day. They talked about school, life, food, and other miscellaneous things.

(Y/N) suddenly felt the urge to grab Tanjiro's other hand and start spinning around. They both laughed as they goofed off and spun in circles until they felt dizzy. They finally stopped, but they were still a bit wobbly when they tried to stand.

Then, to both their surprises, (Y/N) lost her balance and fell... right on top of Tanjiro.

Tanjiro was as red as a tomato with (Y/N) directly on him and her chest right up against his.

"AH wtf I'm so sorry!" (Y/N) said in extreme embarrassment.
She got up off of her boyfriend and then reached out a hand to help him up.

"I-It's no problem... no.. problem..." he seemed dazed.

No matter what she did, (Y/N) just couldn't get Tanjiro to snap out of it. She tried waving her hands in front of his face, poking him, snapping her fingers. Nothing seemed to work. She looked around, defeated, until she saw a sturdy looking tree. She had flashbacks to that time he pinned her to the wall and got an idea.

"Tanjiro, why don't you rest against this tree here?" She hoped that would get him to move over to the tree.

He did, and leaned against it.

Now it was time for (Y/N) to try out what she's wanted to for so long...

She had second thoughts, but she really wanted to know what it felt like. From all the fanfics she'd read, (Y/N) figured she had a basic idea of how to do it.

She took a deep breath and slammed her hand right next to Tanjiro's face. Her other hand went in her pocket and she stared directly into his eyes. Honestly, she felt pretty powerful.

Of all things, of course this would be the thing to break Tanjiro from his daze.

"(Y/N)? What are you... WHA-" he shouted when he came to realization.

(Y/N) didn't say anything, instead she smiled and leaned in for a kiss.

Tanjiro was startled, for sure, but really didn't mind. He kissed her back with passion. Lots of passion.

In short, it turned into their first make-out session.

When they finished she both cuddled under the tree.

"I never thought I'd be doing something like that with you." (Y/N) giggled.

"Same here." Tanjiro was amazed, shocked, and confused all at once.

"We're going to need to practice that later, aren't we?" (Y/N) suggested flirtatiously.

"W-what? We are?" Tanjiro said, and ngl he sounded excited. 

"Of course."

And that's how the young couple discovered they were much more bold than they both thought they were.
