"Good morning." (Y/N) yawned and smiled at the cat plushie she received from her first date with Tanjiro.
Welp, time for another school day!
(Y/N) was feeling good this morning, so she put a little more time into her appearance then she normally did for school. After she put on her uniform and made a nice breakfast, she headed to the train, excited to see her red-headed boyfriend again.
She liked to-go breakfasts because walking and eating was quite enjoyable to (Y/N).
No reason why, she just liked it.
"Hey Tanji!" She waved happily.
"Hi (Y/N)! You look really pretty this morning. Did something good happen?"
"Not really. Just felt like getting dolled up." She smiled, happy that Tanjiro noticed the extra time she spent on herself that morning.
Tanjiro smiled in return and offered his hand, to which she eagerly obliged. They held hands on the train like usual while listening to music. Once at school, they said hello to Zenitsu, who was at the front door checking everyone's uniforms.
"Good morning Zenitsu! How are you today?" (Y/N) greeted.
"Better now that you're here (Y/N)-channnnnnnn~" Zenitsu's face went from a combination of bored/scared to lovey-dovey in less than one second. Quite impressive to be honest.
"Hey Zenitsu, I'm here too, haha." Tanjiro said.
Zenitsu glared at him.
"Don't get the wrong idea, 'pal', I'm still mad-no-FURIOUS that you managed to get a girlfriend before me!" He pointed a shaky finger at the dumbfounded boy.

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT FACE!!!!!" Zenitsu screamed.
"Cut that out!" (Y/N) swatted the back of his head. "Yesssss (Y/N)-channnnn~"
Shortly after that whole ordeal, they left the helpless blonde behind and continued into the school.
Unfortunately, they had separate classes so they had to part ways.
"See you at lunch then?" (Y/N) smiled and started walking off.
"Yup, see you then!" Tanjiro replied and went in the opposite direction.
TIME SKIP TO LUNCH TIME
(Y/N) met up with Tanjiro on the school roof, where it was quiet and peaceful. Not many people went up there, but if there were any they were usually pretty quiet people.
"What did you bring for lunch today, Tanji?" (Y/N) asked, wide eyed. She knew he had some sort of delicious treat in his lunch box, as he lived in a bakery.
"I brought an extra brownie for you, angel!" He smiled and handed her a large double chocolatey brownie.
"Awwww! You know me so well, don't you?" She said and took a massive, glorious bite.
After taking in the joy of the brownie, she handed Tanjiro something of her own.
"Here, I made you some rice balls earlier!" She gleefully shoved them into his hands.
"Wow, thanks so much!"
After a while of sharing food and stories, (Y/N) got up to go to the bathroom.
"I'll be right back!" She said and ran off.
Tanjiro sat patiently, staring at the clouds and tapping his fingers on the ground.
After a while of doing this, he realized that (Y/N) was taking a long time. Like, a looooong time. He knew that girls might need extra time in the bathroom, but (Y/N) knew how to manage her time and often didn't take too long to get ready.
It concerned him, so he got up to see where she could be. He also took her bag with him so as not to get stolen.
He went to where the girls bathroom was and waited outside. Surely she'd be out soon.
He waited a good 10 minutes. (Y/N) was nowhere to be seen. Now Tanjro was even more worried. (Y/N) didn't take her phone with her, so there was no way for him to contact her that way.
He decided to look around the school by himself. He got a few hallways down when he heard (Y/N)'s sweet voice:
"Um, excuse me, I need to get going."
"Nah, why don't you stick around? You're pretty cute."
Tanjiro felt annoyed when he heard a male voice obviously talking to (Y/N), and went to scope it out.
He watched around the corner as his girlfriend was getting harassed by some delinquents. (I know, kinda cliche)
"U-um, I have a boyfriend, please let me through."
Tanjiro was enraged by the fact that the tough guys thought they could treat any girl like they own her.
"You have a boyfriend, huh? Well where is he now?"
"I'm right here." Tanjiro said and crossed his arms confidently.
"This little shrimp? Like we'd believe a hottie like you is dating him" (Y/N) looked angry as the guys were berating her boyfriend.
"Cut that out and let me through!" She demanded.
"If he really is your boyfriend, then I dare him to pin you to the wall. Random people would never do that." The leader said smugly.
"Tanjiro, yo-"
*BAM*
(Y/N) was in shock when tanjiro placed his hands on the wall, on either side of her head with a determined look.
She could tell he wasn't thinking about the embarrassment of doing a kabedon on her.
"Well well, looks like you are dating. Fine, let's go do something else boys." The leader said and walked off.
Even after they were long gone, Tanjiro kept staring deep into (Y/N)'s eyes.
"U-uhm, Tanjiro? They're gone now." She smiled with a nervous giggle.
He kept on staring, though his face slowly started to turn the colour of hot cheetos. (We need to stop using "tomato" and "cherry" for blush)
"AH! I'm so sorry so sorry so sorry so sorry yyyy" He apologized over and over.
"Calm down, it's fine! I just... didn't expect that from you. That takes guts."
"So... you're not mad then?" He asked worriedly.
She put his worries aside with a warm kiss, making his heart melt.
"Of course not! Why would I? I actually thought you looked kinda cool~" She said flirtatiously, causing Tanjiro to faint.
