Charlie's POV:
Jakob was showing me the whole town with all the secret spots. It was such a good time to just skate around and have some conversations with a boy who has the same interests as I have. After a while Jakob stopped in front of a bench and said "Hey do you wanna sit for a while?" I agreed, so we both sat on the bench and watched the sunset.
"You are 16 right? When is your birthday?" Asked Jakob interested.
My birthday is on September 3rd, when is yours? I said
"Haha mine is on September 12th, you're just a few days older than me" he said and laughed. Aww that's so cool! September is the best month of the year! I said super excited.
"Yes it really is!... hey uhm why did you come to the usa? I mean I live here my whole life and it's nothing special" Jakob asked me.
Honestly since I can remember, I've always wanted to live here so I made the decision and finally came here. But it wasn't the best idea to come here without any plan. I'm so lucky that Tré found me. I answered blessed.
"You really had good luck! Otherwise we wouldn't sit here and talk together" he said and smiled at me.
How long do you already skate? You do skateboarding too? I asked Jakob with a smile on my face. "I've been skating for almost my whole life because my uncle is a pro skater. So yes I do skateboarding too." He answered.
Ahhh yeah your uncle is Steve Nesser right? He's such a legend! I said
"Yeah that's true. How long have you been skating?" He asked.
For 3 years and I love it! It's my favourite thing to do.
We were talking for almost 1 and a half our until we realized that it's already dark outside so we made our way home back to Tré, Mike and Billie....
