A/N: PARTS IN ITALICS ARE FLASHBACKS
"So what happened after that?" Aphmau asked me with a smirk.
"Well that's something I'd rather keep a secret." I blushed. Kawaii~Chan and Aphmau looked between each other, giggling and wiggling their eyebrows. "No girls not that! Irene I am not letting him break down my guard that easily but it was just something quite sweet and I-I don't really want to spoil it."
"Yeah of course it was a sweet moment...Travis is known for being sweet isn't he?" Aphmau laughed, a layer of sarcasm sitting in her voice.
"Girls he really was sweeter than usual, less perverted...surprisingly." I smiled with a chuckle. "Anyway, you and Aaron, Aphmau. Let's talk about you two!"
"I'd rather not." Aphmau blushed. "We always talk about us two...There's always Kawaii~Chan and Zane to talk about."
"But we aren't engaged!" Kawaii~Chan crossed her arms.
"Yet." I commented with a smirk. "But yes, they aren't engaged so there isn't much of a conversation to be had about them."
Aphmau laughed and sat herself up on the towel she was laying on before she sighed.
"Fine." She gave in.
"Yay!" Kawaii~Chan squealed. "Have you had any plans for the wedding yet?"
"Um...y-yeah." Aphmau blushed.
"Oo do tell." I said, a tease sitting in my voice.
"We've chosen our bridal party."
"You have?!" Kawaii~Chan exclaimed, sitting herself up. "Who are they?"
"My bridesmaids are Cadenza, Lucinda, Teony, Dottie, Melissa and Kim."
"Um excuse me." I finally pulled myself out of the pool and glared at her. She smiled. Kawaii~Chan and I exchanged glances.
"Well actually ladies the question I needed to ask you was, will you two be my Maids of Honours?!" She smirked.
"Ahh!! OH MY IRENE!! Aphmau! Yes!" Kawaii~Chan squealed and ran towards her, tackling her into a tight hug.
"Katelyn?" Aphmau asked, her voice sounding a little timid and nervous, as Kawaii~Chan let her go.
"Aphmau of course I'll be a maid of honour for you." I said, walking towards her and Kawaii~Chan and joining them in the hug. "And we are totally planning you the best bachelorette party in this universe. You're going to wish you never asked us to be your maids of honours."
"K-Katelyn no!" Aphmau protested.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure she doesn't go too overboard on the bachelorette party." Kawaii~Chan laughed.
"Oh please Kawaii~Chan we all know you are going to want to go overboard on this bachelorette party." I smirked at her. "But we'll try to keep it as modest and as low-key as possible!" I looked at Aphmau.
"Well as long as you two try I suppose I can let it slide." Aphmau laughed, hugging us again. "Aw girls, I am so happy you both said yes to this!"
"Well what ever made you believe we would have said no to this?" Kawaii~Chan glared at Aphmau.
"She has a point Aph...I'm pretty sure we've had the plan to have each other as our maid of honours since we lived together and that was years ago."
They both smiled at me and Aphmau pulled both Kawaii~Chan and I into another tight hug.
•Flashback•
I threw a bag of chips towards Aphmau and then sat on the couch beside her, stealing one of the four blankets from over her knees. The hail was rapidly pouring down onto the roof and the windows making it feels like the whole house was being attacked by rounds of bullets. The thunder clapped and suddenly the power went out.
"Crap." I huffed. "Again?"
"That's the second time this week." Aphmau groaned and titled her head back against the back of the couch.
"It's out on the whole street." Kawaii~Chan appeared from upstairs then snuggled in between Aphmau and I, laying her head on Aphmau's shoulder.
"Well I suppose we could...talk." I sighed, unimpressed. Kawaii~Chan and Aphmau exchanged laughs.
"Come on Katelyn~Sama, Kawaii~Chan and Aphmau~Senpai aren't that bad to talk to."
"Are you sure about that?" I glared at her then laughed. "Hey Aph, dreaming about Aaron there are you?" I nudged her to break her from her little daydream. Kawaii~Chan giggled as Aphmau let out a chuckle.
"No, I'm just thinking." Aphmau muttered.
"About what Aphmau~Senpai?" Kawaii~Chan asked.
"If I'll ever find the one to spend the rest of my life with."
"Uh oh, can the power turn back on before we all get too sappy." I commented. The two of the girls laughed and Aphmau gently, and playfully, punched my knee.
"No but seriously Katelyn, don't you ever wonder whether or not you're ever going to find someone who will want to spend the rest of their life with you? Guy or girl?"
"I-I have never really thought about it to be honest." I shrugged then smiled at them both. "I do know one thing though!"
"What?" They lit up in unison.
"If I ever do find that special someone, you two are most definitely being my maid of honours."
"Well of course we would be." Aphmau flicked her hair over her should. We all laughed.
"Kawaii~Chan was thinking the same thing as you Katelyn~Sama." Kawaii~Chan beamed. "If Kawaii~Chan finds someone to marry, she would one hundred percent want Aphmau~Senpai and Katelyn~Sama up there with her."
"Yeah, I guess I would want you both up there with me as well." Aphmau agreed.
"You guess? Is that your way of telling us you have other people in mind." I raised my eyebrows. Aphmau sighed, glaring harshly at me. "I'm joking Aph. We all know that besides from Zane and Aaron we're your only other best friends but knowing you, you'd probably end up marrying either Zane or Aaron." I teased
"And you'd probably end up marrying Travis." Aphmau retorted back and stuck out her tongue at me. I gently slapped her arm after having scoffed.
"I have standards Aph alright, and Travis definitely doesn't reach them." I rolled my eyes, soon to be slightly concerned with the look that had filled Kawaii~Chan's. "Um...KC, is everything alright?"
She slowly turned her head to look at me with a slightly creepy grin forming on her face
"You say that now Katelyn~Sama, but Kawaii~Chan's ship always set sail...A.L.W.A.Y's"
•Flashback finished•
Aphmau let Kawaii~Chan and I go, all three of us smiling at each other.
"Irene! It feels much more real now that I have my maids of honours!" Aphmau squealed.
"I always thought it would feel more real the second that big rock of an engagement ring got slipped onto your finger." I folded my arms and looked at her engagement ring with a small smile. Her blush became even worse.
"Or when you started looking at dresses, knowing finally you're going to actually be trying one on and walking down an aisle in one." Kawaii~Chan squealed. "Speaking of dresses, have you seen any you like."
"Girls, girls, Aaron and I have only just started planning. We're still getting used to introducing each other as our fiancé rather than our girlfriend and boyfriend."
"But you must have seen at least one dress you like."
"You're starting to sound like my mom." Aphmau glared at Kawaii~Chan who laughed. "Now, we can discuss more about all of this later on. We do have the rest of the day ahead of us and I want to relax for it."
Kawaii~Chan and I sighed, hugging her again before we both moved onto our towels which lay beside Aphmau and began to sunbathe.
