(With Tubbo)
Tubbo gently rubbed his temples, noticing the slight headache that had started to form, not to mention the bags under his eyes that felt like they weighed half a kilogram each. There was a stack of papers in front of him that only seemed to grow by the day.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" "It's Big Q." "What does he want now?" Tubbo kept the thought to himself, as per his better judgment. "Come in."
"What's up?" the young president asked as he watched the familiar Latino man step through the door. "I was talking to the others, and we figured you could use a break." "But who's going to take care of these papers?" the younger asked, clearly very worried. "I will." "Really?" "Yeah, you go home and get some rest. You look like shit."
With a weak laugh, Tubbo stood up. "You're right." He knew there was no point in arguing.
As he walked out, the boy looked back. "Quackity." "Yeah?" "Thank you." "No problem."
While walking home, Tubbo walked by a certain pink-haired lady. "Hi, Tubbo." "Huh? Oh, hi Niki." "You turning in early?" "Actually, I think I'm gonna go say hi to Tommy." "Oh, then I'll leave you to it." The two of them waved goodbye to each other and went their separate ways.
Suddenly, the boy had a feeling in the pit of his stomach, like something bad was about to happen, so he quickened his pace. The next thing he knew, he had arrived home.
"You're home early," Ranboo greeted him, still on the floor, playing with Michael. "Quackity said he'd take care of the paperwork," Tubbo replied, his pace not slowing until he was in the bathroom.
The first thing he noticed in his reflection in the mirror was that his fluffy brown hair was sticking out in every direction, so he tried to flatten at least some of it. He then scowled at his goat-like ears and horns. Ever since the end of the Manburg Revolution, he had been self-conscious of these features. Tubbo thought he looked way too much like the previous president-more like dictator-JSchlatt.
Tubbo had no problems forgiving anyone who thought that he and Schlatt were related, as the two of them, along with Puffy, were the only Caprinae on the server.
With a heavy sigh, the young Satyr exited the room, grabbed his coat, and opened the front door. "Where are you going?" a certain Enderman hybrid asked him. "I'm going to visit Tommy," he replied. "Oh, okay. Say hi to him for me." "Will do," the younger nodded. And with that, he was out the door.
Nevertheless, Tubbo couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong, so he went back to his fast pace from earlier. Even when entering and exiting the Nether, he didn't let the odd feeling from traveling between dimensions slow him down.
As he exited the portal, he realized that it was a different one, with the old one missing several blocks of obsidian. It wasn't long until he came across the crater that used to be Logstedshire. "What the hell?" he mumbled to himself. "Where's the tent?" He continued to walk around, only to find more destruction.
Finally, he saw the pillar that had to be at least 100 blocks tall. "No. No way. Surely not." Tubbo walked into the crater, taking in the height of the tower. Nobody could survive a fall from that height. He then realized that he was standing next to a pile of items, with a certain glowing compass with the engraved words "Your Tubbo" pointing straight at him.
"No. No, no, no, no, no. It can't be true," he started rambling, picking up the compass and holding it to his chest, tears forming in his eyes. But there was no other way. It had to be true. Tommy had taken his last life.
Suddenly, Tubbo couldn't hold back the tears any longer. He let out a pained wail. Within moments, his whole world had come crashing down. "TOMMY!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, not caring that he brought attention to himself. The boy collapsed to the ground and let the tears flow.
Tubbo didn't care when a certain figure in a green hood appeared next to him. He didn't care that a certain Enderman hybrid tried asking him what's wrong. All he wanted to do was grieve. The boy knew that his best friend was gone, and it was all his fault.
(With Ranboo)
Now that Michael was in bed and asleep, Ranboo started to worry about his roommate, as it was already dark out. "Tubbo isn't home yet. I should look for him," the half-Enderman thought. After hemming and hawing about it for a few minutes, he finally decided it was time to leave. "What if something bad happened?"
As soon as he reached the community house, he suddenly forgot where he was going. Cursing his memory, Ranboo checked through his notebook. Right there, in the end, it said "Tubbo went to check on Tommy." "I better make a note that Michael is in bed, just in case."
With his memory jogged, Ranboo knew exactly where he was going. On his way to the Nether portal, he noticed a figure with sunglasses, a blue shirt, and a worried look on his face. "Oh, hey, George. What's wrong?" "Oh, Ranboo, it's just you. Have you seen Dream around?" "No, but I can keep an eye out for him." "Thank you, I'd appreciate that." "George is looking for Dream," he wrote down and went on his way.
In the Nether, Ranboo wasn't too bothered by the heat, being half Enderman. Soon, he found a path that was marked with grass blocks that were placed down to look like arrows. "That must be the one." Eventually, he realized that the path he was taking, and the path right next to him went the same direction. Eventually, he found the portal that should take him to his destination.
Stepping out on the other side, Ranboo thought he heard... "is someone crying?" Panicking, the tall boy went towards the sound, only to see someone curled up into a ball inside of a crater. "Tubbo, is that you?" he shouted, but no response came. Now worried, he ran up to the figure. "Tubbo, are you okay?" Still no answer. "Tubbo, what's wrong?" he asked, quickly being met by a tear-ridden face.
Ranboo finally saw what the young Satyr was clutching onto. A glowing compass. But it wasn't just any glowing compass. It was Tommy's compass. "But, how?" Tubbo's only response was to curl back up and continue sobbing. The taller one then looked up and saw the pillar that seemed to go above the clouds. "Oh. Oh, God. No."
The hybrid thought he heard another person's voice, so he walked around the remains of Logstedshire. Soon, he came across a figure in a green hoodie. "What have I done?" the figure asked, seemingly to no one in particular. The person must have heard Ranboo approaching, as they looked up, and Ranboo was greeted with a white smiling mask that he knew all too well. The half-black-half-white-skinned being took a step back, clearly not expecting who he had found. "Dream?"
(A/n: Wow, 1203 words. This took up nearly 3 pages on Google Docs. Anyways, see you whenever I post the next chapter.)
