Chapter 8: Nightmare From Hell

Everyone was getting ready for the trip to Hogsmeade and not to mention all the excitement in the air for the Halloween feast. Cali sighed as she sat in the common room she wasn't allowed to go because Mrs.Figg wasn't her true guardian or parent so she wasn't allowed to have the slip signed. She followed everyone out of the common room and went down the stairs to the front hall where all the students had gathered in the courtyard.

Callista was talking to Hermione and Ron where in the background Professor McGongall was heard. "Now remember, these visits to Hogsmeade village are a privilege. Should your behavior reflect poorly on the school in anyway that privilege shall not be extended again."

Filch was collecting all the student's permission slips and Cali smiled sadly and Ron and Hermione who offered her a small smile and slipped away from the group, but Harry came rushing forward holding his permission slip to her. "No permission form signed, no visiting the village, that's the rule Potter."

Cali felt bad for Harry, she knew how his Uncle and Aunt were and never really extended much privileges to him and them not signing a permission slip showed that. "Those with permission, follow Professor McGongall, those without stay put." Filch said in his gravely/nasal voice.

Cali made a move to grab Harry's hand but he went after Professor McGongall trying to get her signature on the thing. "I'm sorry Potter that's my final word." Harry looked crestfallen as she watched the group fade away with Hermione and Ron. Harry came back over by Cali who looked up at him, she wrapped her arms around him in a comforting hug.

"It'll be okay Harry, it'll be like old times, yeah?" She said muffly against his shirt, which made him chuckle slightly.

"Yeah, just like old times, but I have to talk to Professor Lupin actually." Cali sighed and unwrapped her arms from around him her eyes slightly watery.

"Right, of course. I'll see ya around Harry."

She walked briskly away from him, biting her bottom lip to keep the tears from coming. It seems like ever since she got to Hogwarts, Harry became distant from her and would almost avoid her any chance he got. And that was hard to do since they shared almost every class together. She walked up the stairs to the common room, she decided to go take a nap.

She reached the portrait where the Fat Lady was and she was asleep she sighed and crossed her arms and cleared her throat. "Fortuna Major." The Fat Lady awoke with a start but swung open and let her in and slammed it shut.

"Rude much.." She muttered to herself and walked over to the couch where she plopped herself down and curled up with the fire burning low.

What semt like hours, but was only five minutes Cali had fallen asleep and her dreams turned from sweet to hellish.

A little girl walked through the old mansion, her laughs echoed off the walls. Cali stood there in the midst of it all trying to get the little girls attention but when she spoke it was muted, there was no noise but the dream in front of her.

Cali followed the little girl up the stairs into what was a study room. 'Daddy!' The little girl screamed and ran over to him and sat on his lap wrapping her arms around his neck in a tight hug.

'Hello princess, how are you?'

The girl's face beamed a huge smile and opened her mouth pointing to a gap. 'I lost a toof! Look!' The man leaned forward with a prideful smile on his face and he chuckled ruffling the girls long brown curly hair.

'That you did pumpkin!'

Cali frowned and looked around the room everything looked so familiar she took a step forward and sat down in the one of the chairs by the desk and studied the man, and glanced down a picture frame that held the man and daughter.

How could this little girl look like me when I was with Mrs.Figg at the time? She thought to herself and soon another man came in a rush through the door.

'Padfoot, they're here!' He said in a urgent tone, the little girl looked at the other man and beamed a huge smile.

'Uncle moony! Look I lost a toof!'

The man forced a smile, and Cali turned around to see Professor Lupin.

What is going on she thought nervously!

There was a crash heard from downstairs before everything started fading to black, she could hear the cries and screams of the little girl before everything was gone..

Cali woke up with a start, her hair was plastered to her face and her heart pounded against her chest. She ran her shaky hands over her face, calming herself down before she heard something outside the portrait, it sounded like the Fat Lady was having a fit.

Cali walked towards the portrait door and swung it open before she came eye-to-eye with Sirius Black. Her eyes widened and she heard the portrait door shut behind her quickly and Fat Lady ran through the painting with a scream and disappeared.

"Cali....?" He whispered, before she let out a scream and swung her arm back and punched him in the face where she heard a crack and groan and she ran down the stairs quickly, adrenaline running through her veins. She could heard his angry yell and something breaking and being shredded. She didn't stop running until she came to a broom closet and locked herself in it.

Tears were now streaming down her face, and her breathing hitched from the force of running and crying.

Who knew instead of waking up she landed up in a nightmare from hell..

A/N: *holds head in shame* yes I know, it's really short! I'm sorry, forgive me? But alright, I figured I owe you guys an update so it'll be this one and also *dramatic pause* .....Chapter 9! Love me yet? And guess what you guys will finally be seeing? Some Callista/Harry action! *screams*
